What they're saying is that a lot of Hollywood types don't care about the differences between different Asian cultures and just lump them all together. Yeah, you can play them, but sometimes you may miss the mark like how Will Smith didn't do a good accent in "Concussion". Randall Park from "Fresh Off The Boat" talked

I think the problem is a lot of biases that people don't know they have about others. Unfortunately, a lot of people see Asian Americans as foreigners despite all the evidence to the contrary.
I do think that will change with the newer generations.

Was it unfunny because it just is or because of so much studio interference and lack of Korean-American writers?
I'm not disagreeing that it wasn't funny judging by the video in the post, but I wonder if maybe they actually hired Korean-American writers or let Cho do her thing it could have been better.

Well, Elle Woods is an accomplished lawyer and shows that you don't have to sacrifice your feminity to make it in a field. Not to mention she learns in the first movie to stop trying to impress guys who don't care about her ambitions.
Can't comment on Eleven since I haven't seen Stranger Things.

One of my favorite parent-child relationships was Lois Foutley and Ginger Foutley on As Told by Ginger. I loved seeing a mom and preteen daughter not be at odds with each other all the time. Plus, I like that they gave Lois a personality and a life beyond her two kids.

Are we talking American comics books or manga? I can tell you growing up that other nerdy black girls were reading a whole lot of manga. Actually, teenage girls in general read more manga and graphic novels.

Try to see if there are any existing clubs already on campus. Start one if there's none.
And you know what, maybe invite some people to watch a movie or read a comic. I think some people have a limited view on stuff like anime and stuff and she could show them some stuff.

I think I went to the same place if I recall. Definitely an experience.
If anyone is in Houston, I would definitely look at the Buffalo Soldier Museum. It's small, but packed with history.

I think the issue with some of that is having a majority Republican congress and making sacrifices. Heck, the crime law seemed to be a function of that: http://www.realclearpolitic…
Basically, things get complicated when everyone has vastly different ways of dealing with a problem and it seems it's only grown more

I honestly believe that as well. Looking at her entire life from university til now, I think she does actually want to make the world a better place. I know some will mention the hawkish aspect, but it's not inconsistent with her ideals. She's the type who believes that we can use laws to make the changes we need.

Hillary Clinton's ability to keep her face neutral is a skill we can all used.
And tell me why the memes have already started right after this was posted? Can't the Internet chill for an hour?

I've always enjoyed Queen Latifah. Even in mediocre work she stands out and has this amazing presence about her that I love.
For voice actors, if you have Cree Summer or Phil Lamarr, I'm ging to watch at least one episode.

I think both require real talent and hard work and a lot of discipline. Especially if you're someone who likes to do theater.
I do think musicians to actors seems like a smoother transition because musicians tend to act on stage and in music videos whereas actors who have no aspirations to do musical theater tend to

If we're talking any pairing, Oprah and Gayle. Those two are proof to me that friendship can last.

Ain't that the big philosophical question?

No idea. She released the statement back in February.

I'm not surprised. This is the same person who as a Republican supported Barack Obama in the 2008 AND 2012 elections. He doesn't care about being ride or die like some people in these parties.
I will say that if Condoleeza Rice had actually agreed to run like some of the Republicans wanted her to do, Powell might have

I've been listening to quite a few and you start to notice who has a radio-made voice and program (Another Round is a good example) vs. someone just hanging out with friends who just happen to have audio equipment around. Nothing wrong with the latter, but just don't expect it to be lucrative.

My guess is that people who say that have the mindset of "if you build it, they will come". I think it can work where you do something you like first and thinking about the audience second. The issue is that it can take longer to get that audience (especially if you got super niche taste) and you're more subject to
