All of life is a game of probability. Do you drive to work? Do you take either baths or showers? Do you ever drink alcohol or eat fast food? All of those things greatly increase the probability of harm to your person.

I really have no need to convince anyone. My logic was questioned, and I respectfully answered. No more, no less. I don’t hold any stock in Chipotle, and it wouldn’t hurt me in the slightest if there was a mass boycott of them.

Seems to me like you don’t know what the term “probability” means. Just because some e. coli cases made the news does not make it a “probability” that you will get sick eating Chipotle. It still remains a “remote possibility,” not even close to a probability.

The honest fact of the matter that any time you eat food, you are at risk of contracting a food-borne illness. E.coli doesn’t care who prepared your food.
