Carrot Ironfoundersson.

I'm a biologist and I work for the (US) federal government. In my free time I lift weights and throw in highland games. I mostly read urban fantasy and I watch too much tv. I prefer action and comedic movies to dramas and my new favorite movie of all time is GotG.

Logically, the dragons decide that the whole green-eyes thing is complete bunk, and choose to go find the douche-canoe who told them in the first place.

They on rare occasions will bring a firkin or keg of it to a bar for a tap takeover or other event, so I have had it in Chicago. It is indeed really frigging good.

I've got to make it out there one day. I'll thank you to not mention this hypothetical Unfiltered DBA again until I do.

Oh, for sure Insidious. And The Conjouring. And Sinister. All recent examples of, "shrug." They're just...kind of lifeless and unfun. Also, I am sick of Ed and Lorraine Warren-inspired anything. Their con artistry is scary. The movies based on their con artist stories aren't.

It's kind of why I loved Planescape: Torment. The scope of the story was massive, but you don't end up saving the world or anything like that, instead the story was a very personal one dealing with The Nameless One and his companions, and in the end his was just one story that touched on a multitude of others.

I got caught up in it yesterday and played for...too many...hours. The auto save system kind of kills me. I think I should stop, then I get to a save point, then I look around fro

I liked the Persona 5 teaser. But I heard that it got pushed back to TBA 2015 in Japan instead of this December. Which means the earliest we'll get it outside of Japan is December next year. Sucks. Still, happy that it's coming for the ps4 as well.

Congrats! You earned and deserved this. Don't forget about us little folk back on the ODeck.

Welcome! We are really happy to have you on board!

Hello there, and welcome to Toybox - io9's new subsite for the nitty gritty when it comes to the pop culture we

I love this so much. I'm going to include this in one of the Groupthink Posting Guidelines updates we do soon.

Why would you need to warn someone that they are about to watch the most horrifyingly awful things on the planet die?

I mean exactly what I said. You asked what can white people do right, and I suggested that they could make urban policies that prevent the problems associated with gentrification. The main problem is that they are pushing low-income people out of their homes. Urban policies that could help prevent that include

Lotsa butthurt white people around these parts.
