Although the title of his book was a tongue-in-cheek metaphor, Thomas L. Friedman may as well be a Flat Earther.

Two things about the “apology:”
The real tragedy is that this is happening during the leadership crisis at the NRA; how will we know that now isn’t the time to bring up a political issue like gun control without a strong hand on our moral rudder?
had to be ferried around on a golf cart while everyone else walked.
Stop with the “Dr. Claire” business! Was this review written by a child?
Call her “Dr. Finn”, or call her “Claire”.
tripped balls and saw it through a black hole at the center of the universe, capitalists gonna monetize
I’m no Scott Brown fan, but to call him a carpetbagger is ridiculous. He lived most of his life in Massachusetts, spent 35 years in the Mass National Guard, served in the Mass General Court from 1998-2010, and received all 3 of his degrees from Massachusetts colleges.
The prohibition of those that are incarcerated from voting is just another form of gerrymandering and voter surpresion. That is, prisoners count toward the population of a voting district yet they can’t vote. So, they are sometimes included in heavily blue districts when redistricting occurs to weaken that district…
If I understand it correctly, Disney bought 20th Century Fox (which owns and produces The Orville), but not the FOX network (which buys the show).
I’m not sure why everyone keeps thinking this is just an alternate timeline and won’t have any bearing on anything. I don’t think her decision not to date Ed was thrown in there just for giggles. The mind wipe didn’t work, she remembered everything and didn’t want to go through all that pain, so she dumped Ed. I think…
I enjoyed the well written review of the Orville, as I always do. But I am struggling with the central premise of it, which seems to be that Ed’s bad actions make this outing “erratic” or uneven. On the contrary, I think the way Ed Mercer is being written is really consistent across episodes.
Corporations like Stop & Shop don’t care about their workers. In fact, if they could enter into a convict lease agreement with the local for-profit prison and pay their convict/slaves a de minimus wage, they would.
The ONLY reason we have streaming, or digital sharing of any kind for Movies and Music is because of piracy.
Be glad.
Barry’s hate-filled look at the end of the episode is actually quite the opposite of sociopathic. A sociopath lacks empathy; but Barry’s obvious anger towards Sam is based entirely on his empathy for Sally.
respectfully, shut the fuck up thomas friedman. you’re a bad writer and no one likes you. - noho hank, a wise man
I don’t either? I’m specifically saying that a lot of Centrists and pro-Harris people have been saying “fuck Sanders, but you have to support my candidate no matter what”.
I’ll be honest. I’m curious as to how many people here will vote for Sanders after hearing “but if [x] wins the primaries, you still have to vote for them because Trump. But I hate Sanders, and I hope he never wins” around here since 2016.
He probably already has, and has.
Yeah, you read that and you totally envision the "punched Don Jr. in his dorm for not wearing a suit to the Yankees game" rumor
Apparently, Trump’s fascination with Ivanka started well before she was an adult. Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen reported that when Ivanka was just 13 years old, her father asked, “Is it wrong to be more sexually attracted to your own daughter than your wife?”
