Lots of love for CarPlay/Android Auto, heated seats and steering wheels, rain sensing wipers. I get that. I’m going to be very low-tech here.

Say what?  From March 20th:

At this point, it’s CarPlay. I don’t want to use the manufacturer Nav, or messaging, or phone call apps, or music apps, or satellite radio (that’s still a thing right?) or any of the other built in wanna-be apps. My phone does all of those things, requires no learning curve because I use it all day anyway, is more

And as a heads up from someone who pursued a lemon lawsuit with Tesla, they *will not* offer a settlement to get you to go away. Most automakers will toss you a few thousand bucks in free service or parts. Tesla WILL take you to court if you pursue a lemon lawsuit.

And pretty much all of the owners must be musk stans. So if they’re complaining openly it must be pretty bad! Imagine all of the breakdowns and glitches happening that owners will never tell anyone about because they don’t want to admit both they and Musk are dumb and the truck is hot garbage.

Yeah I feel the giant touchscreen taking over many of the controls is really going to kill the reputation they’ve tried to build as the company that sells are car you can hand down to your newborn when they turn 16.

The problem is with Tesla’s culture as a whole. To build a good manufacturing organization, you need to nurture expertise and talent, and invest in people — and there is nothing Elon Musk hates more, or respects less, than people. (Why do you think he cares so much Full Self-Driving and humanoid robots? Because he

I don’t normally shit on a whole group of people, but for CT owners, I’ll make an exception.

To make you angry.

anyone who willingly bought a cybertruck after knowing everything about Elon and Tesla honestly deserves to have their trucks bricked lol

I know new cars sometimes have teething issues, but Jesus Christ this is laughable.

We used them a few times during COVID, but quickly realized it was terrible for everyone but the delivery company.

They retire from farming, but they become more active in local politics. Bringing those classic values of the ‘50s with them. Fuck...

F Joe Manchin fr tho.

Food delivery is an established, proven service popular with consumers. The problem lies in making the delivery drivers free agents. It used to be that a pizza delivery guy would be working in the kitchen when not out on delivery, so he got paid an hourly wage and the tips were just a bonus. Now, the drivers are sittin

Golf carts.

I know far too many older people with Pilots. Not sure why they need that 3rd row most of the year but they’ve got plenty of room around the holidays when their kids and grandkids show up.

Lexus RX. Every boomer coming out of a CR-V looking to “finally splurge a bit” is buying them, my parents included.

Once the Scion xB went out of production, they all migrated over to the Kia Soul and haven’t looked back. Honestly, it’s easy to see why. They are easy to get in and out of, still relatively analog, have enough room to pick up the grandkids and their strollers, and can be afforded on a tight social security budget.

Disagree. The point of the credits is to retool the industry as well as sell cars. You need both. Hyundai, Honda, and other EV makers are scrambling to build plants in the US for battery production. Mines in the US are being opened. Even domestics like Ford and GM are having to reconsider and move their EV and battery
