I am a Below Deck superfan, and the last season was almost unwatchable for me. The toxic masculinity on that boat was INSANE, and none of those dudes showed any remorse during the reunion. No wonder Kate quit the show (which will not be the same without her).

Oh, daaaaamn.

For me, 23 is stupid young, yes. Both from a medical/brain development standpoint and because I myself am old.

Medically speaking, yes. They started dating when she was 23. The human brain keeps developing until the mid twenties. While some people can find a partner for life at that age, many people change quite a bit from early twenties to early thirties.

We get to decide which is less horrible: voting for the guy with a sexual assault accusation or voting for the guy with multiple sexual assault accusations who is responsible for destroying the country in ways too numerous to list.

I found Jay quite charming on the show, but it seems clear that he’s struggling with retirement, and possibly a bit jealous of the success that she’s had with her company. Then again, they were both stupid young when they got married, so maybe they really did just grew apart.

Lol, I just re-read my comment because I thought I included lippie and saw that auto-correct changed it to hippie. apologies to all the hippies out there!

Stone cold, but I laughed.

I am surprisingly upset by this information. Despite some of her extremely shitty options (vaccines), I enjoyed their reality show and thought they made a really sweet couple.

Seconding the Olaplex recommendation. Try sleeping in it with a cap. Also recommend a hair/skin/nails supplement. My favorite is from New Chapter Organics. I bleach my hair from dark brown to platinum, and there’s no way I could do so without the topical Olaplex and the supplements. BTW, do not buy Olaplex (or really

Just pre-ordered your cousin’s book. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have notI I mistakenly assumed that the book he’s currently promoting was his first. I just ordered ALT (my first hard copy book order in years, since there was no Kindle version). Thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed Grace Coddington’s autobiography, so I’m bitterly disappointed that I will have to wait until September to read his. Come on, ALT, throw us a quarantine bone, here!

Right? Way to bury the lede, here.

But then she straight up harassed the mayor of WeHo during her store opening, which was a major violation of decorum. Where are the Southern Manners, lady?

I live in the South, so I hear it constantly and LORD does it get under my skin. I actually have a very strong negative reaction to many “cutesy” words. For instance, I also hate: hubby, sunny (as slang for sunglasses), hippie, ciggie, and snuggle. Don’t even get me started on weird diminutive terms for various body

Just wanted to say how much I always enjoy your comments, made even better by your username.

TBH if a a person of either sex calls their father “daddy” past, like, the age of 14 I’m immediately concerned.

I was 18 when this movie came out. Even in 1991, it was obvious that this was a movie for middle aged men. The type of men who liked to joke about cleaning their guns in front of their daughters’ boyfriends. It sucked then and it sucks now. That being said, I can confirm that hotdog buns used to come in packs of 12.

Definitely Carlin. I use that quote almost weekly.
