It's so great that isometric CRPGs are finally making a comback.

Pillars of Eternity. Baldur's Gate 2 is the best game ever made, and everything I've heard says this is a worthy follow-up.

The book was a perfectly cromulent trifle. And Spielberg is just the man to direct a movie about 1980s nostalgia.

You know I never thought about the similarities between Misfits and The Preacher. But after thinking about it it's a really a good match, and this is a perfect casting.

The only thing that worries me about that is its so hard to coordinate gaming sessions.

Is it a worthy followup to Dark Souls?

Baldur's Gate 2 is my favorite game ever. My girlfriend is going out of time this weekend. I may not leave the house this weekend.

This is not the horror action game review featuring monstrous baddies that I was expecting today.

I'll see you Kay and Abercrombie, and I'll raise you Lynch and Rothfuss. Still, the audacity of trying to tell a story this large while remaining propulsively readable is what is so impressive to me.

I love Hobb, but what Martin is doing is pretty impressive for pure scope.The series (especially the first three) is some of the most compulsively readable genre entertainment in existence.

Even if watching costs the same, I wonder if cord cutting might make it easier to get my money to the content creators I actually like. I'm not a fan of subsidizing a bunch of shit I'll never watch.

I've been reading Blood Meridian at home. I read this in college years ago, and this book is far better than I remember. I've slowly been working my way through the entire McCarthy oeuvre in chronological order, and this is the best McCarthy in my opinion so far (runner up to Outer Dark).

She was on the Idle Thumbs podcast, which is a pretty good podcast in general.
