Why would I buy a clone of a BMW when I could just buy the BMW? Its not like Cadillac has bad powertrain or chassis design, they’re world class in both.

My thought has always been that the people that know its a Chevy engine don’t care, because its the engine that matters, not the badge; and the people that would care, don’t know enough about the vehicle to know it isn’t a Cadillac engine.
