“the cape,” right? at least i think that’s what it was called. some short-lived nbc superhero show

If that sweet Laurel Canyon sound plays in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, when you someone eat it?

Ah, but how many of us (besides Keith David) remember what the “six seasons and a movie” joke was about?

Why do you guys keep ignoring Alison Brie news items? There was noise when she said the script is ready and she's even read it but absolutely crickets on this site. Truly a sign of bad times when AV Club starts to ignore Alison

At least we still have someone very special. That’s right. You guessed it...

....for THIS?!

In a very weird legal hiccup, they actually need Luis Guzmán’s permission to begin filming the movie.

I got a Community notification for this?”

i mean, i feel like it’s not that he crossed over, it’s that the uk office isn’t as relevant as it was 20 years ago.

Yeah, seems like William just wanted to shamelessly plug The Green Knight, instead of using any scene from The Witch.

Actually, it juts looks like a G. It’s his family crest, and in his language it means, “I’m so hungry I could eat a planet.”

Most importantly, he played Finchy on The Office.

In fairness, nothing really rhymes with “hostages.”

Sausages?

I’m still angry at the Harry Potter films for not doing the right thing by splicing random clips of Richard Harris into movies 3-8 instead of recasting his role.

Whatever he did, or you think he did, he’s dead not and can’t hurt you. His cast mates, who knew him better, don’t have a bad word to say about him. Nor the shows crew either. Just leave it

I find it bizarre to frame their choice in this as ‘doing the right thing.’ I think decisions like this are entirely situational and should be a combo of doing what makes the rest of the cast comfortable and honoring the loss.

Rose - General Organa, if you want the troops to attack, just say “Seriously, JJ, I’m done with the takes.”

Now playing

Recast, or don’t, but PLEASE don’t use “archival footage” or AI to plug the character in long enough to die heroically or some shit. The Rise of Skywalker had A LOT of issues, obviously, but their “Fallout Boy” approach to “honoring” Carrie Fisher’s legacy pulled me out of it from the jump.
