Everyone’s always talking about Dawn of the Dead or Day of the Dead, but no one’s talking about the Feelings of the Dead.

Are we sure this is the producer in question, and not his evil twin?
Baffling why they wouldn’t take this golden opportunity to raise Romero from the dead so that he can direct the movie and actually see it from the perspective of the undead, instead of the cultural appropriation he did while alive.
The characters don’t even have to make all good and sensible choices, just *believable* ones. If someone makes a dumb mistake, there should be some logic beyond it beyond “the plot demanded it”.
I’m no flag waving ‘patriot' by any stretch of the imagination, but this notion that the lowest common denominator is exclusively a US byproduct will never not be exhausting. Future "Ow, my Balls" fans are a worldwide phenomenon. For proof, see your average interview with any given Brexit supporter.
Counterpoint: one of the biggest movies of the year is a biopic about a physicist and the morality and politics around his work. Art and profit are not an inverse relationship. Pandering to the lowest common denominator often drives off anyone with an intellect above that of a potato.
We’re all waiting with baited breath for AMPTP to reopen negotiations with SAG-AFTRA: for all of the really pressing reasons, of course, but also because we want our damn press tours back!
He really is Skinner in that episode
That’s why Game of Thrones’ early seasons made it the biggest show on the planet. Because a genius producer came up with the key idea that what it really needed was dumb it all down.
I’m Wonder Woman and so is my wife.
Splitscreen co-op is such a niche category at this stage of video games, wouldn’t it make sense to just drop the feature from the Series X so you can get it out the door. Word of mouth, website coverage, advertisements will all lead to the biggest possible sales right now. If they wait 6 months just to get parity,…
Gal Gadon’t
I think you could do a Guardians of the Galaxy 3 with Wonder Woman. That movie didn’t really connect to the larger MCU storyline and wrapped up the story for most of the main characters. Plus, both Wonder Woman films have taken place in the past. To pull it off and have it make narrative sense, you gotta resist the…
Wasn’t the mass migration to Mastodon, BlueSky, Threads, and various other Twitter-killers of the week supposed to destroy Twitter? It’s almost like Twitter is completely peerless and unrivaled, and users will stay on the platform no matter what Musk does.
“[A]lleges numerous issues including sexual harassment, claims of religious and racial harassment”. Ugh, that’s all so awful.
Everyone thinks they would do better if they were running the show, but it often turns out it was just lack of previous opportunity to lord power over someone.
You don’t see pressuring a subordinate to physically engage with a nude dancer at a strip club as something that might qualify as sexual harassment? Lord, I wish I could get you on my juries.
Let she who is without sin launch the first banana
I can only assume she was criticizing the dancer for getting taller.
I’m trying to match the extremely-religious dance captain with the extremely debauched goings-on in Amsterdam (seriously, LAUNCHED?).
