You underestimate how badly the base has been brainwashed.  Obamacare is health care they have to pay for in advance, which they feel is akin to “taxation without representation.” For people barely making ends meet, a few hundred dollars more a month feels like an insurmountable burden.

Yeah, I feel like a better solution would be for warnings to ratchet up in volume/annoyance level, and then after like 10 warnings, it contacts the authorities for help, assuming the driver is incapacitated.

It couldn’t avoid t-boning a semi-truck. Pretty sure it’s not going to be able to cross several lanes of traffic safely.

Luckily, their constituents watch Fox News, which will assure them that this plan is the best. You don’t need to buy any health insurance, ever! You’ll be fine! What could possibly go wrong? Whee!
