Yup. Just one more example of their shoddiness. There are some people on their Facebook page who have commented that it’s been two years since they ordered the collectible Arkham Origins cowl from their site and still haven’t received their orders. I refuse to buy Project Triforce CEs ever again.

When I saw the headline picture I thought “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”

In order to bring someone in to help you with a boss or a level in Nioh, someone else must have beaten it first.

OH my god, yes. I was so excited when I saw her character in B&W, and then the way the quest ended I was like “OH MY GOD THAT VIDEO IS THE END OF THE QUEST.”

I’m not sure what causes it - maybe a set point time on how long they’re standing still after the chute drop, but I’ve come across 7+ AFKs in an open field before and couldn’t do anything to them, and then later they died to playzone.

They’ll die anyway when the playzone changes, so, yes?

Weird. I’ve played several times (not as recently as the new patch) where I’ve just ended up in a field full of AFKs and shot at them/ran them over/punched them and nothing would happen to them.

Because the game has tracking statistics, its to prevent active players from just hanging out on the plane to land with the AFKs and shoot them.

No it’s been in the game for awhile. I’ve ended up a couple times in a field with 5-8 people just standing still, and haven’t been able to kill them, but eventually the playzone takes them out.

Were you trying to run over an AFK? They’re protected from harm for a good amount of the time to prevent people from just waiting around to inflate their kill counts.

It’s not that it wasn’t working - Everything was unlocked for a few weeks for everyone. You could still pre-purchase digitally some champions/skins bundled together with some RP before the game actually launched for a free game.

He didn’t say f2p though, he said early-access with microtransactions, which, PUBG is.

Not really. Buying champions isn’t a requirement in LoL, and the only advantage paying cash for them nets you is more options during champion pick. Otherwise the only other cash option is cosmetic. You could easily spend $30 on LoL to get all of your favorite champions right away instead of playing for IP to unlock

Doesn’t necessarily drastically change the business model. Like League, PUBG will only sell purely cosmetic items for $, as League did while it was in Pre-Release as well.

Not the first game to do it... Pretty sure League of Legends literally made a business off that model before it went full release.

I haven’t ever seen a $200 6GB 1060, I’ve seen plenty of 200 3GB ones, but I could be wrong. $230-240 is about the lowest I typically saw them go after rebate when I was price watching one for a friend’s PC.

The one that atgrey linked is actually a *great* PC for the same cost, it would easily run around the one linked in the article.
