I think it’s not so much that he’s completely different (because he’s still ultimately going through the same redemption narrative that the books do) but more so that he’s so behind where he is in the books, from a developmental standpoint

Don’t let the star I just gave you for that hit you on the way out.

It’s quite OK. I apparently wasn’t any more clever than the other ones either :P We can be pithy together.

I think you meant “fund” the game.

That makes sense - I could see if you maybe modified your rules to play without a minimap, but no restriction of using the map only at fast travel points - because it makes sense Geralt would have a basic cloth map on him, that would be less frustrating. But I certainly applaud your commitment to immersion! That’s

Fair enough - I can certainly see the appeal - I just feel given the size of this game, this level of immersion would be an exercise in frustration pretty quickly.

...why don’t you have a minimap/can’t look unless you’re at a fast travel point? Playing with some kind of weird mod, or just some weird self imposed rules?

More like these.

Yeah no kidding. Don’t get me wrong, very excited for FFXV, but, more 7 pics would go a long way.

Now, this we can agree on. lol

Glad to know you find game instability to the point where it’s unplayable for some* is “trivial.” “Gameplay” suffers when a game is unstable. Also, if you think that people who work on the game engine and do efficiency and optimization during development are the same people that decide how the story goes and just how

Not always - Only helps people with 60 Hz monitors.

I think you’re missing my point. I’m not disagreeing that Facebook does any of those things.

“I like to call them paper people”

I did not “ignore” the cap. I turned V-Sync off, which, is an option available within their own graphics settings, many of which are a fan of because it reduces input lag.

Except it does affect gameplay - negatively, in this regard, because the game literally falls apart.

No, I’m asking for their games to actually properly utilize the hardware they are running on. I should not have to change my monitor’s refresh rate and dick around in my Nvidia control panel just to make sure I don’t break their goddamn game.

Including the naked long haired dude.

And I think it’s not absurd at all, and thinking like that is why we end up with broken games like this.

^ Same. On both counts, hell I’m a dude and I’m thirsty for some Sephiroth remake shots.
