ABC could also save a lot of time by per-emptively cancelling it.
Yeah, I only see this as being worthwhile if you don't have a decent editor.
Much better and much quicker to do the same thing by simply letting someone else read it and give you all the same advice.
Though I would totally stay at the Cyotel if Pellegrino was turning down my sheet and fluffing my pillow, if you get my drift. :)
Did I mention that sexual dynamite Mark Pellegrino was in this episode?
I don't think I'm ready for Tara to have a relationship, everyone she dates sucks.
As far as I'm aware, that only applies to the Daleks (because Terry Nation specifically negotiated it in his original contract, not expecting they'd become a genuine pop culture icon) and K9 (whose rights got tangled because of that unfortunate spin-off we shall not mention again).
Well, I guess Moffat is too diplomatic to say the two stories featuring the Rani sucked Dalek gun-stalk.
I don't think Batman and Catwoman are "oppos ites attract."
Genesis of the Daleks — which is that rarity, an origin story ret-con that actually works. Still scares me.
And you can't say "those crazy asians in the movie copied Dredd", because this movie has been out for a while, and Dredd is still in production (or close to finished?).
And strangely enough, they might just be watching the original movies. There's these strange things called DVDs and Blu-Rays...
I'm actually surprised at how bad Cosmopolis was, since usually Cronenberg is good with weird, pomo source material.
The movie completely glosses over this problem and then goes on to have Batman magically appear in every part of Gotham city where every person he knows happens to be at that moment so that he can save them. It's ridiculous.
How The Dark Knight Rises should have ended
On reflection, "misogyny" might be too strong a word - but his films, taken as a whole, while technically amazing tend to put their female characters too neatly on one side or the other of the madonna/whore dichotomy — and get horribly punished if they fall on the wrong side of the line — while King's novel was a lot…
I said that Dredd shares so many similarities with TRR that it's hard to imagine they didn't crib heavily.

Oh, I don't disagree with you there - but I think much of Fringe's humour came out of John Noble's exquisite acting, which managed to hit that very tricky balance between comedy, tragedy and flat out "what the fuck did I just see?" weirdness. :)
