Not to defend anyone’s actions, but doing double the limit in a 70 is much different than doing double the limit in a residential.

Neither the GS F or IS F are soft, even when compared to the competition. The vast majority of drivers will run out of driving skill before they reach the mechanical limits of either car.

Especially when that same somebody claims they don’t even remotely like the car, in the same sentence.

Hell, that’s how most people drive, period.

To be fair, your question isn’t very clear. They probably thought you were asking about the quoted words, which they did clarify.

Right, I’m not knocking your personal decisions, at all. Like I said, I’m sure it worked for you.

“But there are always plenty of people who can truly afford new cars to buy them” [...] “I’m more concerned with the consumer who cannot afford a new car”

“I just don’t understand why anyone would want a properly new car. My second Fiat 500 was owned for about a year and came with 8,000 miles on it. Granted, in those 8,000 miles, the previous owner managed to curb all four wheels, scuffed the front bumper, and did a fair number on the clutch.”

Well, you can’t buy a used car unless someone buys it new, first. So hopefully the thought isn’t too far beyond you. ;)

Thank you, well said. The distinction you’ve made is key and really sets the basis for how any discussion should proceed on the topic.

What would be the purpose of averaging the costs, if many of the cars parts have separate part numbers and all other parts will be as reliable as they are on any car, anyway?

“I say this because customers are jerks just as much as the sales people!”

Agreed. I think consumers need to take some responsibility in this process, as well. I’ve sat in dealerships many times, only to see customers walk in and go on the offensive, because they think that’s how you negotiate. Plus, they believe the

Sadly, this is all too common.

“when they realize it’s costing them sales”

The thing is, I don’t believe they recognize a few folks here and there who don’t return every 5-8 years to purchase a vehicle. At least for me, I’ve had fantastic and terrible experiences at the same dealership, just with different staff, so it made little sense to punish

As one in the sweet spot of the sweet spot (7 lbs/hp), I’d have to agree.

“Now I curse his name because of the way he did some of his home improvement projects, but that’s beside the point. I still love my house.”

The Fusion driver was ready to scrap, he had already tried to get out of his car at one point.

Regardless, having his car collide with the bike at over 100 mph isn’t exactly favorable.

To leave- quickly.

I think it’s fair to say everyone has had an “oh shit” moment, and I think we’ve all done impulsive things, but C&C is a bit different.
