You haven’t demonstrated a functional definition of a coupe, to say what is and isn’t one. It’s not my fault your position doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. *shrug*
In reading the exchange, he didn’t call the 500 a coupe. He was mocking your definition of one, because the 500 would fall into your categorization of a coupe, if your terms applied. Since they don’t, and it’s mutually agreed that the 500 isn’t a coupe, then by extension, your definition is also incorrect.
That doesn’t answer either of my two questions.
Out of strict curiosity, what are you comparing the 500 to when you say it doesn’t have limited rear space?
Yeah, the frame. The car is pretty vulnerable to frame damage, even from otherwise minor impacts, which can result in a totaled car. Dealing with a totaled car that you’re trying to salvage and re-insure, can become tricky to navigate, if you’re unaware.
Which means you’re guessing.
Abso-F’ing-lutely.
“and not much else to break”
How would you know how sluggish the M2 is?
As much hate for cars as I see on Jalopnik, I’d question who the actual enthusiasts are...
They could have multiple cars, their favorites (or even all of them) jumped up. Many people who own cars in this price range do.
In the few times that Aldo speaks, he actually has spoken about the UFC dicking fighters over, usually related to fighter pay. This would include fighters lower on the roster who didn’t have the benefit (and clout) of being the champ.
“Owning a car makes you that much more likely to drive drunk and kill someone, so by your argument, all cars should be banned.”
Indeed. What people sometimes (often?) fail to realize, is that guns give the illusion of power, and when people get power, they become emboldened.
Of course they can, but let’s put that into perspective. How many mass murders are carried about by sarin gas attacks in subways, compared to the ease of acquiring and shooting a few dozen people with a gun? In fact, most of your links had more wounded people than dead ones...
Your links pretty much prove that guns are much more effective and doing what they do best, than knives.
History has proven that there is rarely “a line”, and where there is, it’s always subject to erosion.
