My 2008 Ls460 has, by far, the best touch interface I have ever seen. Its well positioned, appropriately sized and the car has duplicate physical buttons for most features. How they have gotten worse is beyond me. My fathers “improved” iDrive in his 2017 M4 is a symphony of frustration.

They accepted me, so Harvard it aint

What are you talking about? Jalopnik regularly makes fun of BMWs for being horribly unreliable. Hell, my Dad’s M4 has been in the shop 3 times and only has 6,000 miles on it. Saying your Alfa is better than Audi ain’t saying much!

Wow, are you ever butt-hurt. I know that nothing is going to convince you otherwise, but here is a roundup of the stats: https://www.osv.ltd.uk/are-alfa-romeo-reliable/ Or you could just look up consumer reports data. Also, Jalopnik reviews have been rather positive about the Giulia. Beyond that, do you have any idea

Overblown? Have you looked at the statistics?

The Lump made me exceptionally happy.

If you like rust and overheating, it sure is! (I kid, I love it).

That FJ that overheated and started spewing coolant right at the entrance gate? Me. I just left it up there.

I brought my 1980 FJ, with sweet period-correct stripes!

Yes. Massive numbers of people do. And with good reason, its literally the only source of unbiased statistical data on reliability. Its not a perfect system, of course, but its better than “I know a lady and her Accord always broke”. Now, the “recommended” part is much more subjective. They hated the iDrive (we all

I think this because the people that do cost estimates for car production think this. I’d be stunned if this comes in for a penny under $100K.

I have wanted a Veilfire since the first time I saw one in Hong Kong many years ago. I would buy one in a heartbeat if they sold them here. So much less embarrassing than a Sienna.

Would my rusty 1980 FJ40 Make the cut? My 1988 560sl would have been perfect, but alas, I sold her.

Basically this. Numerous studies done by cab companies and trucking companies along with Consumer Reports have all come to the conclusion that the biggest variable is miles, not the quality of the oil. That said, there are outliers, like racing, where it does matter a great deal.

You know there were literally thousands of direct competitors right? I don’t know Bezos, but everything I have read and the few people I know at Amazon that have worked with him have all said he is fantastically intelligent.

Is there any chance this could come to the US as a rebadge? Mitsubishi could bring this back as the “Raider” and make a killing.

If you are putting tomatoes in your chili you have bigger problems than the size you select.

Working on video games does not make you want to molest children.

A bulldozer. But seriously, I have no idea who this thing is for. If you actually tow that much weight regularly you need a Gooseneck. You should probably get air brakes too.

My mom had a Diamante. The interior was light-years nicer than any Japanese counterparts and most Germans. Unfortunately, it was an unreliable POS. You had to pull the manifold to replace spark plugs. No one bothered to keep them running.
