Small point of correction. Used GT-Rs are one of the few cars that have gone up in value as they kept increasing prices. I don't think I have seen one drop below $55k at any mileage or year. That for a 5 year old car that cost $65k to begin with.

In your post you said you would laugh at people when setting a better lap time. You reduced all car ownership to you ability to beat someone on your home track. How small of you. My real point was that you may feel smug for betting them, but they may not feel bad for losing to you. My guess is they enjoy their car for

Delahaye 235 coach Chapron: Drop it, chop it, flair the front fenders. Install noisy v8. Flat black. Screams from the haters gotta nice ring to it.

This is such a hollow argument. I drive a 4s. It is not as fast as a super car. It isn't even close to the fastest 911. And I get OWNED by Miatas on the track because I am not the worlds best driver. Do I feel bad that I spent 4x as much as them? Nope. If you feel smug about your track times you are an asshole.

Ya, so this is one visit to the wheel shop and its a Donk. I'll be dealers start offering Donk packages.

The true measure of a man can only be known when he is old and rich. In my book, doing strange things and caring not one whit what YOU think makes him a great man.

You can just _feel_ the pilot's fear; "This fat idiot is going to get us all killed"

I had a squirrel get in my pickup and chew up a ton of wiring. It took my the better part of a day to soldier all those wire back together. Damn squirrels.

Always loved these. That said, I would never touch and AMG engine. Too costly, and no point. Who the hell need that kind of HP in a cruiser for traffic? Get the base engine, enjoy the ride. Save $10k.

Actually. breakfast Tacos (and to the lesser extend breakfast burritos) really have their strongholds in Texas and California. That doesn't mean the rest of the country isn't aware of the concept. They serve a thing they call a "breakfast taco" at McDonalds in many places in the US, but if had ever eaten one, you

Word of warning to ya'll outsiders: Spanish Chorizo is a fancy dried sausage that can be sliced and eaten. Mexican Chorizo is soft and must be cooked. Also, DO NOT ASK what it is made of. Just enjoy it and move on.

Your thinking too small here. Headlamps + wipers + mufflers = street legal kit car.

Hey, they are doing this to keep _you_ safe from the terrors of ferrin' cars! Now excuse me while I go drive my 40 year old (perfectly legal) death trap of a sports car.

Ferrari of Austin has a flawless one sitting out back at the moment.

Listen, I am former '73 911 and '69 911 owner. I now have a 996. As great as the air-cooled cars are, they are not "more reliable" at this point. As a daily driver, the 996 is faster, more comfortable, handles better and will be cheaper to maintain. If your only interest is as a weekend toy that appreciates, sure go

You wont be disappointed. 996's are a blast and a hell of a bargain.

Many exceeded 100K miles, actually. The whole IMS issue, while real, was always smaller than people imagined. Its just that the people that complain the most are the ones we hear about on Rennlist (etc). That said, my m96 was replaced under warrant by a previous owner after its IMS shit itself.

Absolutely. I drop off my 6 month old and my 2.5 year old to day care every day in my 996 4s.

This list could have easily been ten old british cars, but the E-Type really takes the cake. It was the fastest car in its day and it's still no slouch now, but only on one condition – it has to be working, which 90% of the time it won't be.

Are there two Delorean monster trucks? One was built in Austin many years ago years ago by a friends step brother (who worked at a local lift shop). It bounced around different used car lots for a number of years, but then I never saw it again. I can find no photo proof that these are the same cars and Rich says he
