I love all the negativity.
I love all the negativity.
That is silly. Most trucks used to be 2wd. Then, dick waving became part of the decision making process and people decided they needed 4wd to handle parking lots and gravel roads. You dont. Not even in snow.
Is that the Driveway?
I think most parents would agree with your sentiment, myself included, but there are often uncontrollable circumstances. A few months back we got pushed to the redeye with our 14 months old after missing our first flight (delay at another airport) and then a cancellation due to mechanical issues.
You are right. That is a bad deal for you, but you are attempting to make your concerns the same one as the customer's. Did you learn nothing from the music industry or your local travel agency? Attempting to prevent people from doing something a better way is a bad idea.
Agreed. Acevedo seems like a pretty stand-up chief surrounded by incompetent cops and and indifferent union that protects these guys. The sad fact is many police officers are not really up to the job of having the power over life and death, but the worst of them are given the same hollow points as the best of them.
Ya, frankly, I never understood the hate. Enthusiasts just insist "You should only make the fantasy cars I want and nothing else, ever ever ever" then proceed to buy a BRZ instead of a manual transmission GT3 while watching Lotus implode.
Nope. Always liked them as well. I'd have a tough time, at $40k, taking one over a used 911 of the same age, but I expect them to continue to fall in price over time. Maybe in 3-4 years.
Raw eggs over rice is a common Japanese breakfast. Its called Tamago kake gohan.
As a marketer, I cannot fathom how a corporation could make this big of a blunder. The value in that name is exceptional. The car has a nearly spotless record of being the benchmark among enthusiasts. To throw that away in order to support a rather arbitrary naming convention is silly.
I have been watching CTS-V wagon prices for a while. When they do come up for sale used, they rarely lose much of their value. There are a lot of guys like me waiting for them to fall below $50k.
I assume that is just the pre-production process, right? Each chassis is not hand formed is it?
Looks like roughly the same ground clearance as an Accord.
A "Texas Themed Party"? That is such a weird concept.
I never discount the possibility that I screwed it up, but to be fair my wife is in mobile app development and I am reasonably tech savvy. Between us we have used the Iphone 4, 4s, 5, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 with our Focus.
We have Sync in our Focus and it gets exactly no use. It is super clumsy to use, the voice recognition sucks and it takes forever to pair with our Androids. Who bothers to sync their phone with their car every time they get in anyway? Android has native driving mode which works better and is less of a pain.
Actually, I am sort of curious about this. Getting one for 50% off on Ebay wouldn't be so bad.
Given the horrifying reliability issues and terrifying maintenance schedule of an AMG, this is probably one of those cars that actually makes sense to lease.
I got hit this morning by a Mustang sliding into my rear. Very annoying. I won't be bring the Mercedes.
I like it. I like that it is polarizing. I would hate to live in a world where all cars looked "just fine". It is great that we have some designs that appeal to some people and others despise.
