This is iGizmodo you are going to get weeks of this crap Apple pays their bills, you cant expect real news here.

But hey lets not pick on the handicapped they are catching up one day they might have a brand new phone that can do the full spectrum of modern technology, and if we offend them we know they cant find us on a map so we are safe *duck.
Well actually my S1 could do all this and more, and do it better, so really more like 2010.
I tried to Buy 6 SG3's when they came out, because the .CA price was 1/2 the price in my country, I was told to GTFO. Was a pity because I would have taken 100 easily as a second order, so it just means they lose out in sales. (for those wondering I wanted the quad core edition hence using .ca instead of a US store).…
Can anyone tell me, is there a limit to how many phones one can buy when one waits in line, IE if I tear gassed a line, stepped to the front of it and bought 1000 phones and then sold them at a premium to people who wanted it early at a 25% premium no wait in line fee, if they would sell me the the phones, I know some…
Wow, that was a load of shit. And looking at the layout its an overly complex mess, oh and wait whats that a terrible antenna layout that screws data and voice at the same time. For the /b of gizmodo this was even worse than his usual crap.
Wow that is a special kind of inbred stupid.
My inner child officially worships you for this post ;)
Well even CNET who is iBiased deluxe had this: http://www.zdnet.com/iphone-5-has-enterprise-potential-but-disappointing-overall-7000004202/
Hmm the battery drain on that is going to be huge.
Yes but my point is, if it was so well optimised (IE not wasting cycles) then in thoery it should get much better battery life than it does with such a slow clock.
It's pretty awesome that they are doing this, maybe apple is turning over a new leaf, and it is awesome to see someone using solar to that sort of scale.
http://guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/PQinrlrkqrr1esWL.medium <= as you can see, the actual inards would easily fit a smaller form factor if desired.
It seems that its 2 x A5 Cores and 4 PowerVR SGX543 cores, so even at a clock of 1GHZ it should be a massive improvement. That should also put its final benchmark higher than the S3.
I saw an article mention the clock would be the same as the 4s, but let me try and find a more up to date reference.
However if you do some looking around I think if your entire argument is how much can fit in a small space you will see it would be easy to build a speced phone better than the 5 in the same size. The S3 is the size it is purely to support the screen choice no other reason the internals for it are pretty tiny.
Just use one, they feel the same. The touch screen is just fine, 800 mhz is what the 4s is clocked at, all the usual touchwiz gestures are there, it does not need a bigger battery, etc.
Typically you want the fastest bus you can get, faster ram will generally always have a better effect on performance.
Well one would think that perhaps its not so well optimized, that it needs slower clocks to keep battery life bearable. I cant see why one would want to pay more for less hardware, unless its purely for superficial reasons, but my autistic nature would freak out at that.
Well Gizmodo is known for paid bias and plugs, so we cant assume that its her personal taste, and separately to that, are we white knighting a little? that's adorable.
