@Botswana Meat Commission FC: To paraphrase Ben Franklin, anyone who gives up a little privacy for a little security deserves neither and will lose both.

@xxdesmus: I knew I'd seen this idea somewhere before!

@haroldiv: Exactly...this is a browser extension, not a standalone browser.

I hope that they remain anonymous. Sometimes - I think it's important NOT to know who the good guys are. It sort of balances out the fact that we don't always know who the bad guys are.

Tech pundits like Robert Scoble are promoting this app like it's the second coming of VisiCalc (the first killer app). It's not. It's interesting, it's very well designed, but it's not going to change your life (other than to dumb it down even further).

Because some of us only have a Mac being used as a media server and 10.4 was quite adequate for that. Why spend money/upgrade when you don't need to?

My order for a 32 went through at 11 am on the 15th and still hasn't shipped.

If I'm running out of time on my Office 1020 trial I'm going to need a lot more than an extra 180 days!

While you're right on the money for most of the apps, the deal is worth it for RapidWeaver alone. In fact, I'm really annoyed that I just spent $40-50 (discounted price) for RapidWeaver just last week!

If it's wrapped in anything that has a large, curved "M" logo on it, don't eat it.

Not sure how this is newsworthy since the official GasBuddy app has been out for quite some time now. It may not have augmented reality but it works well, looks nice, allows you to report prices, and has the option of finding the nearest gas station as well as the cheapest in case you're driving on fumes.

Ack. Delete this.

Twitter is social masturbation. (And the more people do it, the blinder they get to the fact.)

@Tom-LH: I'm running with VMWare Fusion on the Mac with no problem. #ubuntu

Since others aren't going to want to come near you anyway because of your cold, throw in some fresh pressed garlic as well.

@Craig: Actually, I've read the book and taken the workshop (albeit years ago). I simply found it took more work to get ready to do something than it did to do it.

@Reyn Yonashiro: Funny, most of the kama`aina I know wear aloha shirts.

GTD never worked for me...it's the equivalent of having a t-shirt with the slogan: "Just write it down, prioritize it, plan it, re-evaluate it, and do it."

I thought "The Mouse" was Mickey. (Oh, and Apple..."Grand Central" is Station.)
