Putting points into Typhoon though… I just want to max out my stealthy abilities. Though grabbing an RPG for the first boss makes him a joke and then for the next bosses you can get an assault rifle and put the Fifth Element-style tracer bullet mod onto it to make the rest of the bosses a joke as well. Also part of

Loading a save game can take upwards of like, 3 or 4 minutes. The first time I did this I was scared my game had crashed until it finally loaded. Going from the main area to a different area is maybe like 15-20 seconds but returning to the main area can take upwards of 2 minutes. The load screens sure are pretty,

I've been playing Obduction a lot over the past couple days. I believe I'm very near the end (spoiler-lite progress; I turned on all the gizmos I'm aware of). The game is very pretty and interesting. I like the story thus far and how it's told in bits and pieces, but only if you're willing to examine every environment

I'm sure you haven't seen the extent of Frenzy yet…

Does Grow Up fix the awkward and janky and slow movement from the original? I heard so much love for Grow Home that when I played it I was shocked to find how tedious it was to get around (though that's kind of the entire game).

I think the settlement building is entirely optional in this game, unless I'm missing something. If you just wanna run around and upgrade stuff and keep fighting the tougher things then that probably works for you. In Terraria, my houses typically ended up looking entirely bland because of how little I wanted to

After getting thoroughly disappointed by No Man's Sky, I refunded it and started playing Starbound instead, which does a lot of what No Man's Sky does, but better (though in 2-D). I'm having a lot of fun hopping from planet to planet and picking up resources, crafting new gear, and fighting big monsters. Also

Roundabout is an amazing experience that everyone should enjoy at least once in their lives.

That's essentially the gist of the greater plot, yeah.

So I tried No Man's Sky and I am going to give it a hard pass. Obtuse interface, performs like trash on PC, and the exploration is not at all interesting to me.

I liked the explanation of the codec calls in the Metal Gear universe, where the codec works by vibrating your inner ear so no sound is made to alert nearby guards. I don't know if it ever explained exactly how YOU can transmit without guards hearing you, however.

I've said this before, but SSR is probably the hardest puzzle game I've actually completed. Other puzzle games could be harder, but this one is just so well-designed and the solutions are just right in front of your nose that you're spurred to keep onward.

I'll be installing No Man's Sky later today. I haven't felt this conflicted about this game, probably ever. There will be a time when I'm roughly 1:50 in and deciding whether or not to keep playing or refund. Everything there is to be said about this game has probably already been said, so it really boils down to

Corruption is the only one I feel this way about, and it's still an amazing game. Getting rid of the various beam types was a lateral move that removed a lot of annoyance from the game, but didn't replace it with much of anything. However relegating the different "elements" to your beam, missiles, and grapple still

I haven't played XCOM 2 with any mods. I was always a little annoyed with how melee was a no-brainer to use in the beginning, especially with Sectoids being weak to it. Then, over time, melee just gets weaker and weaker, especially once enemies with counter attack start popping up and you unlock the best ability,

The story of 13 is why not everything avant garde is automatically good. It's just a jumble of non-sequitirs layered on top of each other.

I think part of it has to do with how much he resembles Ben Schwartz / Jean-Ralphio.

That's kind of how I feel about the series after Asylum…

Yeah my biggest worry is how much unique content there will be, so I'm not running into the same world archetypes over and over. To the last question, the devs have alleged that the galaxy is so large that it will be pretty rare to run into a planet that's been explored by another player, let alone actually run into

Origins probably has the best storytelling in the series, even if it's basically Arkham City 1.5 in terms of gameplay, so there's that.
