I always forget that Zero Mission came out after Fusion, but yeah.

I don't know. I've actually had a lot of fun using magic in PvP, tossing out a large variety of spells: Deep Souls, Soul Spears, Flashswords, etc. etc. I feel like the strength of magic in PvP is less about the amount of sheer damage it does, and more about mixing up your tactics. Any given player will typically dodge

I think the answer is "Nomura".

I can confirm that magic is pretty damn crappy, as I've played a dedicated sorcerer from the start. He still doesn't have the INT required to use the best spells, though normal Soul Spear is OKAY.

You don't need to be wearing anything specific; you just need to, for some reason, see Paarl and then visit him again without attacking any of the beasts in the area.

I'm playing through on a third character in Dark Souls III, this time as a muscular dude with lots of strengthliness. I've gotten enough strength to wield a massive screw-you axe, which is tearing through practically everything with no effort, provided I actually get a hit in. I really enjoy that they made strength a

The lack of any good Metroid game since 2007, and good 2D Metroid since 2002 is one of the biggest travesties of gaming.

The real pro strat? Getting the ballista to kill the worm FOR you!

The Souls series gets more mechanically demanding as time goes on, but gets less obtuse in the overall mechanics. Demon's Souls is by far the easiest game in the series when you know what you're doing.

About 24 hours to beat all the bosses in my first playthrough, though not doing all the sidequests and such.

I was going to suggest Majula from the sequel, too. Just staring out at the waves during a permanent sunset while this is playing…

One of the biggest let downs of the game is the linearity. However, most of the levels are designed pretty well. I understand why FROM decided to give the "interconnected world" the axe, since it's probably a main in the ass to build and maintain, but it doesn't make it hurt any less to see it go. It gets a little

I think Orphan of Kos is my favorite in the series so far. My favorites for each game are probably:
False King Allant, Artorias, Fume Knight, Orphan of Kos, boss that shall remain Nameless.

You should also check out Environmental Station Alpha once you're done with Axiom Verge if you still want a great Metroid-like on PC.

You might want to check out Zelda Randomizer once you're finished with Zelda 1. It's an application someone made that, based on some tweakable settings, randomizes the entire game. Dungeons and other caves are shuffled around, Dungeon layouts are different, enemies appear in different places, items are shuffled

I mean I managed to not die in NG++. I've died plenty in previous iterations!

I'm well on my way to Platinumming Dark Souls III. This game seems to ask the most out of any of the souls games (except maybe Demon's) to get all the achievements/trophies. Specifically, there are a lot of unique rewards you need to get from the various covenants, so you need to level them all up. There are upgraded

I'm currently using Lucatiel's Mask, Sunless Armor (Sirris's armor), Fire Witch pants, and Antiquated Gloves. I'm a very classy lady.

Give it time. Dark Souls 3 is probably the first game in the series to have an actual difficulty progression in regards to bosses. The early game bosses are (rightfully) pretty easy in comparison to the mid-to-later game bosses.

I feel like FROM nerfed those guys in the most recent patch; it takes a little longer for them to start sapping your health, so if you just rush in and get the drop on them you can prevent the sapping entirely.
