I still love that Wander ends up looking more and more raggedy as the game goes on, after he goes through several more life and death battles and gets attacked by black spaghetti each time.

There's a fine line a developer would walk when implementing something like this. You can have something that strikes at random, which a lot of players would decry as being "cheap" or "unfair", but you could have scripted encounters where the debilitation comes to light in a particular encounter, which also sort of

As far as I'm concerned, the Yes Man / Wild Card ending is the true canon ending. Give everyone in the Mojave the finger and do things your way. It is probably the most involved, though.

I hate watching people be BAD at video games, but if there's a good Let's Play or speedrun with good commentary that isn't filled with cringey YouTube-caliber humor, I'm likely to be interested. LPs on the LP archive are typically good. I also watch more Twitch streams than I care to admit.

Yup. I haven't touched a fighting game in years, but I will get weirdly into the Street Fighter tournament(s) at EVO every year.

Nah. Maybe a Daily Double would be fine.

I'll take a McDLT.

Just as an FYI, the version embedded in the post is not the whole story. EDIT: They fixed it.

I use the site www.logicalincrements.com, which lets you price out a general build and then it gives you some good suggestions for what to get at that price level.

Psi Ops are totally worth it; you'll want them ASAP, especially since it takes forever to train a Psi Op to be field usable.

Time Kompression.

I'm pretty sure you just had to find the Ragnarok again, and you could go wherever.

I don't look upon this game as fondly anymore, but I do remember when it first came out that I would keep going back, fight the final boss, and watch the ending dozens of times.

I was going to say something about Nier having an adult protagonist and a story that heavily revolves around fatherhood, but then I remembered that the Japanese version of Nier (Nier Replicant?) completely replaces the main character with a generic anime teenager trope (who is now the brother of the damsel in

That's strange because you can easily just say "welp I guess I'll just go do the other areas now and come back later" since the game is fairly nonlinear. The only thing that kind of sucks is how few and far between the waypoints are; if there was a waypoint a screen or two before every boss, that would encourage me to

Ditto. I've probably clocked around 50 hours in FO4 so far, and will probably put in another 50 at this rate. I still don't think it's that great of a game, though.

I picked up Hyper Light Drifter and got sucked into it as well. I'm not entirely sure how long the game is, but since there are apparently 4 branches, and I'm most of the way through the 3rd, I'd wager I'm at least 2/3rds through the game. The bosses have been challenging, though so far I wish there were more of them.

Counterpoint: You're wrong.

Yeah the soundtrack is a pretty big step down from FO3 and New Vegas, mainly because half the songs, as you said, are just taken directly from FO3. However, I do enjoy Travis as the DJ. I was actually envisioning Travis as a David Cross character until I actually met the guy.
