Crackdown was legitimately amazing though

My friends and I have a game we've been playing practically every time we get together (and are drunk): Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms. It's a Diablo clone set in the Everquest(???) universe that is just simply awful in many ways. Do you want a game…

Did you play it when it first came out, or more recently? They changed a bunch of stuff to make the game better as a whole since around when the Reaper of Souls expansion came out.

I'm going away for the weekend, so there will probably not be much gaming until Sunday evening. I've been sitting at the end of my Veteran Ironman playthrough of XCOM 2 for days now, and have been stymied by a nagging question:

I think it's entirely possible that you screwed yourself out of getting Brador's entire set by killing him so early, because there's at least one more invasion after the Lighthouse.

Keep and Desert Ruins shouldn't be too hard. You could also go out past the Village and check out the forest or coast for a couple interesting areas. Marsh, Quarry, and another area you probably haven't been to yet are probably the 3 hardest areas, and Village kind of requires you to have at least visited every area

Buy me Bloodborne or GO TO HELL!

I actually like to just use my fists against random guards in the AC games, since they're basically just as powerful as any weapon you can use. Game developers really need to realize that the most immersion-breaking thing is when your character is constantly just mowing down dozens and dozens of people with little to

I got a blue shirt on and the running shoes I decided to wear have bright yellow highlights on them, so I'm covered.

I didn't know he did a movie soundtrack! That's pretty impressive.

I'll probably be finishing my Ironman Veteran playthrough of XCOM 2. "Only" had 3 casualties so far: my most and 2nd most promising rangers, and my 2nd string sniper. I have a bit of a resource crisis, though I just got enough supplies to fully get tier 3 weapons and armor (barring the beam pistol and alien amp,

There's definitely something big you'll be able to uncover still in The Witness if you still have some lasers to go.

The Gank Squad is pretty intimidating; I like to lead the two melee guys on a Benny Hill chase while I run around and take pot shots at the sniper until he's out of the picture. Then taking on the two melee guys is a lot easier. There's actually a way to cheese the fight pretty easily if you want to look that up.

Yeah on a few occasions I had to go back a couple turns to evac everyone; some of the time limits are downright dastardly. I guess according to the review you may be able to recover XCOM operatives that are MIA?

I don't really get into many situations where a soldier dies, unless one of the aforementioned bad things happens, so honestly I end up reloading before I see a soldier get knocked down for good. There are some other scenarios where I immediately regret an action and rush to reload: accidentally moving my Ranger into

This review talks about something I feel we've all experienced during these games: the decision to savescum and how scummy you're willing to be. Obviously for those who totally don't want to scum, there's Ironman, but I feel like there should be some middle ground, some way to encourage (or force) players to not rely

I finished my 2nd run over the weekend (just a normal scummy Commander), and decided to up the difficulty by going into Veteran Ironman. I definitely feel more pressure to make the correct decisions, both on and off the battlefield. Also the game seems intent on throwing more bullshit my way than in a typical game

You can see which enemies you'll be able to shoot at after a move. The target icon by their health bar will show up/disappear as you hover over where you want a soldier to move.

Well if it isn't obvious the table puzzle you do near the start of the challenge shows you where the panels are, as well as where the walls will pop up. I take the time to draw out a rough route through the area after I solve that puzzle.

Demon's Souls is the most obtuse Souls game, but the easiest once you know what you're doing. Playing it after having played any other Souls game all but guarantees you'll have an easy time.
