It's always weird when you see some stray low-res textures in high-res games. It's like a glitch in the Matrix.

I assumed he was referring to this.

I love how citizens spend a week going to their job, about 2 hours at their job, and then another week going home.

Well that's essentially the last area of the game, so you're almost done!

I think we're all in agreement that After Earth is bad. Beyond Earth was pretty cool, if a little barebones.

I've been meaning to go back and actually finish Papers, Please. The problem: I'm at the endgame of my first playthrough, but I feel as though I didn't do well enough earlier in the game to actually get the good ending (if there even is one), so I'd feel compelled to start all over again. Additionally, there is an

It's strange, because the GTA and AssCreed series are pretty high up on the list of games that "leech time". Even if you sit down with the intent on only doing a few missions, there's always another mission or challenge nearby on the map that it's easy to keep justifying one more mission.

You pretty much can't go wrong with your builds (unless you level Resistance).

I think the number one reason I haven't replayed Red Dead Redemption yet is the ever-enduring rumors of a PC version.

You owe it to yourself to finish Dark Souls at the very least. And then Demon's Souls. And then Dark Souls 2. And then Bloodborne. And then Dark Souls again.

I picked up Scholar of the First Sin and I am enjoying it well enough. There's a lot of really interesting changes, not just in regards to enemy placement. I will say, however, that I don't feel as though it is a good entry point for people who haven't played the original. The new enemy layouts are positively brutal

Some more positives:

That side mission is nuts (and like most things in the new XCOM, is quite a bit easier when you know what to do [which is to blow up every fish]).

That leaves one more good one for you to play!

I've been playing a lot of 0h n0, a freeware game on iOS lately (note that those are the number 0; the font in Disqus isn't that clear). It's a pretty neat little logic puzzle game that sort of reminds me of Picross. I think I've worked out a lot of the meta rules, so I can typically clear an 8x8 puzzle in under a

I appreciate and share your dislike for DA:O, but must urge you to reconsider your stance on the Dark Souls 2 DLCs (which are easily the best part of the game).

Every time I've heard the phrase "spiritual successor" it meant the opposite of what you just said. I.e. it would be a game similar to Banjo-Kazooie but does not use the same IP.

Eh, you just gotta go fast. The 2nd one (wind temple) was pretty rough, since it would just constantly drop crap on your head that you couldn't really foresee. It was the most trial-and-error for me. The final one (fire temple) only took me two tries, as there weren't a lot of random elements and you just had to go

CAP-TAIN John-Luc Pi-card, the U-S-S En-ter-prise. CAP-TAIN John-Luc Pi-card, the U-S-S En-ter-prise. CAP-TAIN John-Luc Pi-card, the U-S-S En-ter-prise. (repeat ad infinitum)

A dollar. I don't have a PS4 and don't see any value of owning one beyond Bloodborne.
