@dominetta_vitali had Bond, and Bond had the most selfish ca...: Hell, I'm wondering if I'm supposed to surrender my girl card for liking that Cadillac ad.

@WheatKing: The cajuns have it recorded, actually. LSU teaches Cajun French. (Also known as how to understand your drunk elderly relatives...)
@Slant- sick of the Camaro: I don't really care for yellow cars either - if you gave me a yellow ferrari, I would drive it, but you understand...
@Slant- sick of the Camaro: The '60 fleetside has a really great chrome arrow on the side of it, too: [www.flickr.com]
@Mad_Science: It's not so much heavy as just very, very large. Not possible to move it from truck to ground to bed of truck with just one person. Been working on cleaning up the mess left by some idiot and his ugly, badly applied hood cowling on ours.
I have this hare-brained idea of bringing something like a 70s MGB to next year's Houston Lemons... would that need bribes? You can buy pairs of them for $500.
@Slant- sick of the Camaro: can I have it and paint it flat eggplant purple, instead?
@FishingCrue: Not everywhere still has parking meters, though. For those cities where you have to put a receipt on the dash, or some of the weird call-in payment schemes I have heard of in europe, the meter argument doesn't apply.
@seatbelt123: There is a guy here who has a pair of alfas parked on the street in front of his house. (a 164 and a pretty duetto.) I sometimes see him getting on a scooter to get to work instead.
I can't decide, these are too cool. These are the kinds of projects that my boyfriend prays that I never find. (He is asking for me to wait until we get the truck tow-capable to buy something mad for me.)
@ccc40821: Excellent. I looked them up again after I posted that. (I wish I had learned how to race myself. Still might, someday. I am good enough at being a girl programmer pissing off the boy programmers...)
@Drujon: There is if I recall correctly, at least one female racing driver in Iran. Read something about it in I think the LA Times a couple of years ago.
@CaliforniaCajun: Benson built himself a new one out in Metairie before the storm. I drove past it and saw brown lines on the shiny ponies after that.
>Well, the Chevy could be had with the good ol' reliable 230 or 292 six, and the two-door just looks sportier.
@Dave7: The doors, they -all- rust right there. We have at the moment a grand total of five doors for a 62 C-10, and not one of them has a perfect bottom edge.
@Solo_Racer: The guys with the Stinkin Linkin did the whole re-wire and go crazy with it.
@layabout: One thing that was happening after katrina was towing companies were stealing cars that were totaled by insurance or marked for towing because they were abandoned and shipping them west to be cleaned up and sold to unsuspecting desert buyers, before legitimate authorities could destroy them.
@Paul Y.and the Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Liv...: I was around, but I just remember the Perkins lot being covered in snow... (That, and only really going to Perkins for parties.)
@cq: "I mine" yeah I suck at typing.
