I spent way too much time in line for gasoline after Katrina in 2005. It took nearly two weeks to get regular gasoline deliveries in my parents' area, and they were not that badly hit.

@Maymar - now with 37% less anonymity: One of the guys I dumped because I couldn't stand his taste in cars (among other things) was saving up for a Prius. Ugh. Self-righteous vegetarian, too.
