This looks like a cool design for the bat robots in Kingdom Come, but not so much for the bat himself. Either way, I'm all for more Japanese artists doing their take on American comic books, and vice versa. I loved Ronin by Frank Miller, and I was blown away by Yoshitaka Amano's (also of FF fame) collab with Neil

Oops. Somebody forgot to make the pixels slightly bigger than the squares they fill up.

Yeah you can't use someone's likeness without their consent, but have you ever been to Central America? There are American celebrities all over everything. I saw a shop in Ecuador with Jennifer Lopez's face as their logo. Noriega in BLOPSII sounds just like another serving of that ol American poetic justice.

Is there anything cool you can buy with a Dell gift card?

I did not enjoy it on PS3. Luckily, years later I was able to buy the complete edition on PC, and after applying a few choice mods, I found it to be quite enjoyable.

I like this post. You're right, that is what I was getting at. My original post has received a lot of flak for comparing the two franchises, but I do feel like both series are competing to be the best classical western fantasy RPG out there in terms of brand quality and innovation. So far, The Witcher has been winning

The problem with The Witcher 1 is that it is very, very slow for the first two acts. The good thing is that after they are over, the next three begin to play out according to the choices you made beforehand, and there is plenty of material there for your brain to chew on.

Luckily, the sequel had much better gameplay,

I don't necessarily agree with the point that the Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate re-opened the door to CRPGs, as they are - for the most part - just the vanilla games with a few mods already installed. They are also old games that have been readily available for a while. Divinity: Original Sin, on the other hand,

While I disagree about the absence of The Witcher's influence in the new Dragon Age, I would like to thank you for your well-written and intelligent response. You don't see too many of those around the internet these days.

"I think the DA series has a fairly huge following among the female demographics than in most other CRPGs."

That's interesting. I never thought about that.

It looks nice. No doubt about that, but does anybody get that feeling like The Witcher series lapped Dragon Age so quickly that Bioware is scrambling to play catch up? (Catch up from an esteem point of view. Financially, I'm sure they're sound). Look at the parity between Origins and The Witcher 1 and now the gulf in

I dunno man. That Fox Engine has great graphics. I mean just look at this still from the e3 demo.

I want to back this, but I'm just not a fan of Kickstarter. Normally when you invest in something, you get a percent of the return. It would be nice to get back a fraction of a percent of the overall sales, but alas, there is only the game. Screw that.

Holy. Shit. Is that Jimi Hendrix?

I think that all the pre-release hate could've been mitigated if there was a highly circulated video showing the new team behind the game which really hammered the point home that they made Escape from Butcher Bay and The Darkness.

Max Payne 3, however, was incredibly well optimized. I was shocked at the FPS I was getting.

No. The best thing that the US could've done after their second goal is just pass the ball around and play keep away, but for the last 20 minutes of the game, they basically just passed it straight to Portugal and said "Here, give it a try." It's a miracle they held off so many shots on goal in the last 20 minutes,

Speaking of, have we heard anything about The Witness in the last six months?
