Sorry, that's wrong. If you were really paying attention you would have known the plan was to make the MP play like a single player game by creating a storyline through each mp map. They simply evolved the same thing they did for ETQW. If the bots were better, it would have worked.

DLC costs money, news at 11

You've been bitching about it since day 1- I think you just bought into the hype without realizing what kind of game it is. Just because it's a FPS, doesn't mean it'll play like CoD.

BLOPS, MW2 were both profoundly broken on PC at time of release. BO was barely playable for the first month it was out. Brink is a very different game- people that like CoD aren't guaranteed to be into it, but barring the rocky release it's an extremely fun class based shooter.

They do a lot of storytelling through visuals- it's a show don't tell type of thing. The audio logs are actually a fairly extensive codex of the civil war.

I've got a ton of time in- other than the airport hangar map losing sound (wtf is that?) haven't had anything stand out. What are you running into?

Don't forget BLOPS on pc. They didn't have the netcode fixed for about a month. It was unplayable for many for the first few weeks, then the patch made things choppy for everyone until they had it sorted.

I've gotten one-shotted plenty of times. Once you rank up and start playing with rank 4-5 people on line, you go down just as fast as CoD. Bullets to the face put you down very quickly.

Fourth'd. It's going to be my go-to shooter for the foreseeable future.

One of Brink's selling points was accessibility for team shooter novices. It's a good thing to have non-pros give impressions for that target audience.

If you play an open campaign, you'll get people joining as you play, sorta like l4d. If you want to use a server browser, you get the old school server browser experience. I've already got a couple low ping favs.

don't hate the person, hate the game, yo

The frenemy AI is indeed frustrating- if you ignore the fact that they're supposed to be helping, you can still have some fun as if playing an FPS on hard->nightmare difficulty.

Runs better on launch than CODBLOPS did for the entire first month.

runs great on pc, you can watch this guy playing it right now [www.justin.tv]

The running takes some getting used to, and only the light body type can do all the moves. There was a youtube video sunday that showed someone really using all the moves for map control, but it got taken down as the game had not been officially released. People liked it so much they saved it to megavideo: [www.megavid

The big complaints are about bots and texture pop. Texture pop is only on xbox and is getting a fix, bots... well, it is an mp game- the p is for people.

It's not hard to deduce who's doing what by their actions, and if you ironsight them it puts a big icon above their head indicating class. I generally give bullet priority to: enemies trying to get next to the objects, enemies handing out revive syringes.

Any chance you'll take a look at it on PC prior to full review?

No problems on my old NVIDIA/AMD rig. I've heard that ATI have released a hotfix- something with their drivers cause problems. I'm sure you can find a link on the support forums.
