There's a patch to be released (today?) to fix that. Doesn't have it on PC, dunno about PS3.

It's worth noting that there's a fix in the works for texture-pop on xbox. PC doesn't have it, and the level loading is fast- a lot faster than what's shown here. 8 seconds? Way faster than Blops on the same machine.
That 'push' is a huge part of the coordination in games like this. In ETQW we would always wait until the respawn timer was about to turn over before we took out their medics as a first strike, then went in and killed the defenders so that they'd be weakest for the longest amount of time. If you've ever been into…
Ranking up without building your skill only screws you- when playing online you're grouped into 4 ranks, so jumping to level 15-20 group just means your going to get your ass kicked.
Headshots aren't 1shot but they take em down a LOT faster. like 3 shots instead of 7 or more
What difficulty? I'd rather they let me complete objectives.
Ah- Target was the retailer I forgot the name of.
Actually, Bethesda is offering free copies of brink to employees of Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, and on other... there's a form somewhere where all you have to do is upload an image of your pay stub and they'll send you a copy or code. I'd rather not post a direct link but if you're really employed by one of those…
This looks pretty good for the Xbox, gonna love it on PC
No Durr necessary, I have no idea why Steam is so inconsistent on release timing. In fact I wish they'd move to Friday 5pm releases. Why should Valve have to wait for retailers to get their shit together? The Tuesday release thing is a concession for retail channels- why should Steam customers get their product at…
Get Brink- mp games like that are always the best on release (or rather a week or two in) when there's a large community behind it. Consoles especially drop off after a few months. The single player experiences of LAN and Witcher2 will be around 'till the sales hit. Witcher's going to be awesome.
People should hold off on reviews until it's been out a few days. This is not your run of the mill K/D shooter- the best experiences are going to be after a few days when people have figured out the systems and teamwork.
Already posted, don't care, CAN'T WAIT!
Brink? Can't Wait!
That's not even remotely correct- the 'freerunning' in brink is just a continuation of the jump/climb mechanic found in CoD. People will be able to ninja far better with m+kb
Midnight EST steam release, so 9pm Pacific, ergo the 9th.
Pretty sure there is friendly fire, but spy-checking involved actually knocking down the test subject's life bar to empty, putting them down and waiting for a medic.
The Portal2 ARG was the only 'social media' game I've ever played, possibly enjoyed. I'm curious, not thrilled. Books and movies do just fine, in fact, escapism is a great reason to play games. Sometimes I'd like very much to ignore my friends/other people.
Video games have used unrealistic female proportions forever- this is just guys getting equal treatment.
