Ah, maybe it's a semantics thing! They're mistranslating from the ancient Cretin 'teh-hax' word as 'to cheat', opposed to reverse engineer.

Trying to come up with a way of saying this that isn't trolly... I like reading articles about this sort of thing, and have never seen so many people defend the DRM/Metallica/Censorship side so stridently.
@Kolian: Unfortunately not- can't remember the link but the two have been conflated in (proposed?) US legislation already.
@Namdead: Nope, he wants money from the people that agree with him. I don't plan on giving him any money, but I personally believe that when I buy things, they're mine. If you don't, I have some bridges you might consider for purchase.
Crysis 2
It's a little too much for me- a nice black hoodie with just the life/stasis bars on the back would be great IMO.
I wish someone would update the concept of the American Arcade- something that really could work in NYC (or brooklyn rather) because of space restrictions. My apt is really too small for a proper Madden Couch, we can't store Rock Band Peripherals, or get loud enough to have fun because of neighbors.
@dowingba: Wrong, so wrong. The two experiences couldn't be more different, and the home console experience doesn't replace. If anything, arcades simply stopped evolving- which is a great way to get extinct.
He's obviously not in a position where honesty is an option. Very few AAA developers can speak candidly, there's so much FUD in the industry now.
Odd that they nominated the male Shepard vo, I always thought that it was universally held that female Shepard had better chops.
I agree- first thing that grabbed me about this one was how well integrated the movement is.
He's definitely one of the most interesting to watch- kinda like TLO's older stuff; really odd and inventive.
Fans of the show 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand' know exactly what that looks like.
Don't feel too bad- MachineGames has the original heavy hitters from Starbreeze, and are the first third party developers to be working with idTech5. I think you'll be seeing something pretty sweet from them soon enough.
@DocSeuss: I've been doing 3D design/animation for 10 years, and have worked on several large scale mods- even for me the DA toolset is still a big thing to get to grips with initially. Remember, it's a whole suite of tools- even the people at BioWare only work with a small subset of them at a time.
@DocSeuss: Actually, Dragon Age would be a great game to mod if you're a writer. The mod tools are actually based around excel spreadsheets, which is kinda bizarre but it works out. Setting up new quests and whatnot doesn't really involve any programming whatsoever, there's a bunch of tools that does everything for…
@DocSeuss: Seriously- the one under the tree stump in that quest is impossible without using tab. Bad Design.
@DocSeuss: The part that bugs me is at 0:20 in- the gold outlining on actionable objects like crates and ventilation grates. It's a bit like holding down tab in Dragon Age to make labels appear over actionable items. Very quickly you learn to ignore the environment and just chase the hud overlays.
Goddamn that's such a better character design than Hotdogarm McDredlock.
Least dreary CoD clip- there's some strange stuff out there:
