What is the point of posting this? Am I supposed to laugh at Knapp's (fairly reasonable) request? It's not like she had a lawyer accuse you of libel or some other overreaction.

Most of Texas decided to abstain with the Seattle/SF game as they had to choose between two African-American leaders.
CHA-CHING!
"What's your deal, man?"
What, you want him to wear official Deadspin Brand® skinny jeans or something? Maybe a Tomlin-esque pair of sweatpants?
HOW DO I LOOK IN THESE??!!
Slick groove
Damn Drew. When you walk through the garden, you better watch your back.
And I say this as someone who had seadderal help him through UW. (AKA I feel your pain of constantly riding the overemotional rollercoaster that is Seattle Sports Fandom)
Or by popping Adderal, constantly committing defensive holding, or crying over the fact that no one else out of Seattle cares about the WeeCawks.
Aspie spotted.
Not sure if I follow your logic. Kaepernick had a better QB rating this year than Alex Smith did. Their other stats (Y/P, Y/G, total yards, TD's/INTs) were almost identical. How would we be "much better off" with Smith? Their pass numbers this year were very similar but Kaep is the better rusher, which very important…
I sympathize with your loss, but Harbaugh wasn't running up the score or trying to be a dick. He was trying to protect the lead. That decision actually showed that he respects and fears the Panthers special teams unit.
He wasn't running up the score, that was actually a legitimate strategic move. Carolina has a pretty dangerous punt return unit and they were only down by 13. The game might have seemed over, but if Carolina had returned the punt for a TD and then recovered the onside kick, suddenly that win is in serious jeopardy.
So many butthurt Kaepernick critics in this thread. Your tears are delicious.
The "just hand the ball to the ref" & "classy/played with class" topics normally only come up in the same situations "old school" is code for. Wonder if anyone is going to tell Rodgers just hand the ball to the ref instead of his belt thing, or Rivers' sideline spasms?
We've all been there.
It wasn't a called fake, the Panthers brought both of their outside cover guys inside to go for the block, with no one back to receive the punt, leaving both 49er gunners completely uncovered. It's an automatic audible to throw to an uncovered gunner, probably for every team in the league.
Stay classy, San Francisco.
