It definitely doesn't happen as often when you're with a guy, but when I was 15 I got catcalled on the street while walking with my father. It was possibly the most uncomfortable moment of my teenage years. We both pretended we didn't hear it, but I still get a pit in my stomach thinking about it — not only was the

Fake wedding rings: because some men are more concerned with infringing on an imaginary man's "ownership" than the rights or opinions of the actual woman standing in front of them.

In that picture with the long hair he's like a perfect combination of Jason Momoa and Johnny Depp...

I agree that Cersei is a shitty person and deserves to be removed from power/brought to justice for her actions, but this method of "bringing her down a peg or two" is absolutely barbaric.

I agree! I love that GRRM took Cersei and Jaime, both the de-facto villains of the series, and gave them POV chapters later on to tell their sides of the story. He obviously doesn't absolve them of past evildoing, but they're both shown to be much more complex characters than previously thought.

Now that you bring up Tyrion, there's actually an interesting contrast in how a lot of people react to Tyrion's trial for murdering Joffrey and Cersei's walk of shame. Tyrion is innocent of the crime he's being accused of, and of course fans are angry at the miscarriage of justice. That makes total sense.

It's a major turning point for Cersei, and, for those who hate her, is definitely warranted and welcome.

I think the books did the scene really well — it was excruciating to read, and you could really feel Cersei's whole veneer cracking.

I think Lena Headey has implied in the past that she's willing to do nudity on GOT, but they're waiting for this particular scene.

I really, really hope the showrunners manage to do this scene well.

When my brother and I were little, my dad straight-up told his racist parents that he wanted them in their grandchildren's lives, but that if they ever said anything bigoted in front of us that we wouldn't be visiting anymore. They clearly listened, because I had no idea my grandparents were racist until my parents

I would wear this dress in a hot second.

Holy shit.

I love the "BUT IT'S MY DAY" line because 1) you should be saying "IT'S OUR DAY" unless you are marrying yourself and 2) as soon as you invite guests, you are automatically sharing that day and must take others' comfort into account.

Before Facebook all these people were just pulling out their slide projectors when they had dinner parties. ("Amy and Bob, you will just love the pictures of our trip to the Bahamas! Here we are on the beach! Here we are on another beach! Here we are on a boat!")

I think that what makes this all so unpleasant is that couples often seem to care more about having their "perfect vision" than the comfort of their guests. I don't care if you are dead-set on something ridiculous for your wedding — as long as you're a good host in the process, go ahead.

I agree. Though I think they should have done something to differentiate their appearances besides dye the dude's eyebrows. Like, give Frank a mustache or have him lose/gain enough weight so that his face shape was slightly different between characters.

You could try unfollowing people who tweet about breakfast cereal? Might work.

I've heard a bit of the reasoning on both sides from stories on NPR (that's the only news source I've really seen covering it here in the US) but hadn't heard about the nuclear weapons. That is HUGE. I would vote for New York to secede in a hot second if the government tried to stick all the country's nukes here.

I thought the reason he couldn't get it up for Claire and Jenny was that neither of them reacted in the way he wanted? Jenny mocked him and Claire figured out quickly that it was her struggling that turned him on, so she stopped resisting and also kind of made fun of his impotence. But it's been a LONG time since I
