I don't even enjoy watching Brandi on the show anymore. She used to be fun times Brandi. But lately she just gives me secondhand embarrassment anytime she is on screen.

last year I forgot to get one and I wound up with some kind of flu like illness. I was dog sick for 2 weeks and it took another week to not feel like crap. Then I got the stomach flu. The after that I got coxsackie. So I got my flu shot this year and I haven't gotten sick yet. Fingers crossed!

Brandi definitely seems to have a problem on the show, but it seems like it comes from the desperation of having to play her character. She's just crossing that line from being entertainingly cheeky to being frustratingly cringe worthy.

I didn't get a shot this year (I was really busy and forgot). So of course I got the flu — was miserably sick for about two weeks and had a terrible cough that lasted almost a month.

I have that right now; 36 hours of OhMyFuckingGodEverythingHurtsAndIFeelDizzy; now what I keep calling a "head cold", but which I think is the stupid flu lingering on.

I had a friend die of H1N1. He was 25 and in way better health than me. So, I get my flu shot, because even if I get sick I'm much less likely to die.

I was in the same boat as you. I received the flu shot and get mildly ill a few weeks after. Went to the dr and my swabbing came back negative for the flu (though I didn't ask which strain they were testing for).

Believe it or not, people get hospitalized and die from the flu. Sure, that's much less common for this to happen to otherwise healthy people, but it does from time to time. I wasn't sure about marrying my BF (Jaxon Marshall, gorgeous readhead) in the game, because he was so emotionally abusive about my outfits.
