I’m not sure who came up with the weird “armbar” at the end. They had it all wrong, that would’ve done absolutely nothing except allow the male fighter into a position of advantage.

If you want to see a great example of making a little woman look viscous against a larger enemy watch Hanna, the choreography in that movie was outstanding.

BINGO - it looked more like a dance routine than a fight.

Herm, her action/fighting acting seems to lack weight. : / Seemed plodding, not very physically real within its own context.

Ugh. That was terribly filmed and the choreography was lackluster.

I was prepared to hate it. “Chris Evans?! That’s gonna flop! And Captain America won’t work in this day and age where we scoff at jingoism!”

Wait, did we watch the same trailer? That was some pretty bland fight choreography.

Came here to say this. It didn’t feel like most of the hits were connecting or like it was more sound effect than contact. I don’t know, it just didn’t gel with me.
