I knowww, he isn’t even jealous! He just wants to be with her no matter what.
This.
“You love her
But she loves him
And he loves somebody else
You just can’t win
Yeah, that was a nice little moment. It goes back to when she was playing the “game” with Jaquen. She said the Hound was on her list, Jaquen hit her. Something like “you lie to yourself” or something. Even he knew (from her body language/gestures) that she didn’t want him dead.
The Hound finally admitting (in his own way) that he loved Arya like a daughter.
It’s a neat hat-trick for GOT to make me go from “YES! She’s getting the thing she wanted most! She deserves it!” to “OH NO” in like a half a second.
She gone. She was Knighted as final tribute to a great character. But she ded.
Also, his support of Brienne is so pure. I will actually cry if he dies.
I was actually thinking Tyrion. He went and met with Bran and got “Brans story” I think he’s the only one to do that really. So he’d be one of the few who could write it, other than Bran himself.
Arya is going full Lone Wolf and Cub next week, Baby Cart at the River Styx style(Wheelchair at the Godswood)!
Word?
This episode is how I’m going to remember these characters. I’ve been waiting for Book Jamie and Book Brienne to reach some sort of ending, and I think the show nailed it. I teared up a bit (a lot).
Lyanna telling Jorah where he could shove it. :)
He learned it from his stepdad Ned, who revealed to Cercei his plans to tell Robert about Joffrey’s true parentage. Giving her time to react, and ultimately costing him his head. Foreshadowing?
“Let’s complicate the succession right before a battle!”
Grey Worm might as well have announced he was retiring and had just bought a boat.
Anyone wishing Khal Drogo will make one last appearance even as a super sexy, frozen Dothraki? Klondike Drogo? No? Just me?
So Grey Worm’s pretty much fucked right. He’s like every trope walking now with that long “what do you want to do when we survive this godforsaken war” right before they go over the top speech...
Think Jon probably should have sat on that information until after the battle.
