A centrifugal supercharger changes the dyno curve, not response. Response will still be instant, there is just less power down low. It’s just like high rpm cam.

Turbocharging isn’t 100% free, you still have a little exhaust back pressure added.  Most energy or a good portion is free, way more then with a supercharger. I assume it would be a similar to switching from manifolds to headers, as manifolds to turbo.
