You haven’t driven any modern (last 10 years) GM cars have you?

I really only care about how much fun it is. I love the car and would consider buying it as my first automatic, bought 5 manuals new cars so far. But if they put a manual in it, then damn, I would have to own it.
The leaf is fixed in the middle so there is no coupling between left and right.
You are only looking at engine torque and ignoring gearing.
The Lt5 doesn’t have a peaky power delivery
So the only cars faster then the Corvette are mid and rear engined, which makes the case for the C8. The Ferrari 812 is in between the Z06 and ZL1 and the ZL1 hooks up according to Pobst and it has LT4. The flying Miata with the LS3 is very tractable according to Matt Farrah. As the owner of an LS3 powered car I can…
First of all its not a race car,
“Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us are looking up and we’re like: The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?”
Let me clarify my argument as nobody has been able to quantify the effects of CO2 on climate change ACCURATELY. I never denied the science was wrong, it is just not accurate enough to make any meaningful policy to actually change it. You brush off any logical cost benefit argument about how to deal with climate…
I could agree with you but then we would both be wrong. It’s not a good look when someone can’t attack an argument and resorts to personal attacks instead. It’s pretty clear that we can’t predict climate change from your post and the huge variation you used for lambda.
Then why are we talking about fuel economy standards for passenger vehicles?
obama care is the name of legislation, not Barack Obama
So let me get this straight, you predict λ=0.54-1.2 using “data” then you throw that out because it doesn’t make any sense and use 0.27 to match the actual climate change. I’m not denying that its changing, just saying we have no clue how to predict it.
Talk about strawmen, you just compared planes to agriculture and industry instead of cars which I was comparing it to.
So tell me, how many degrees F will the average temperature climb if a ton of C02 is released today? Please use logic and facts instead of replying with ad hominem attacks.
[1] CO2 doesn’t hurt anyones breathing or lungs, last I checked lungs actually generate CO2. As I stated pollution should be regulated, but C02 is not a pollutant, its a greenhouse gas that nobody has been able to quantify how it has affects the climate.
If that is your only critique I’ll take that as a win.
Well insurance premiums are way up since Obama care. I mean do you even know how insurance premiums work? I mean do you expect to get car insurance to pay for a wreck that already happened? Insurance is a business that needs to make a profit to stay in business, therefore on average they have to collect more money…
lol, that mkiv was something. I liked the interior and style better then the focus, but I should of gotten the focus because the golf 8v manual transmission was the worst I’ve driven to date, and the throttle delay plus heavy flywheel made it so the car would fight you on every reasonably quick shift.
Fuel economy is not “directly” tied to greenhouse gas emissions, in the same way rpm is not directly tied to horsepower, its only half the equation.
