Yes it will happen because of something called competition. Price fixing is illegal last I checked.

The 2002 VW golf had a base MSRP of $15,000, now its $21,845. Name another product (not commodity) that is getting more expensive over time. I only use that car because it was my first new car. Your second point counters the idea that government fuel economy standards are good when cars got “drastically more efficient

  • Making cars more fuel efficient makes cars more expensive no matter which way you slice it.

Did the h3 come with a V8?

But the rub is you can’t ignore the off track part of it. It’s always been that whoever has the inside line to a corner gets to decide when to turn, but you can’t cut the corner, let another car get along side you then push them off the track into a wall.

The 7.3 is gas.

Per ford the 7.3 is designed to give better economy then a 5.0 at higher loads but still be cheaper to buy and own then the diesel if you don’t need the highest capacity of diesel trucks. By you reasoning everyone should buy F550 s and economy cars.

Or when you pull your 10,000 lb toy hauler out onto the dunes. According to this site 85% of heavy duty pickups tow heavy loads.

Ford determined the power required for their application then back tracked to the size of the motor by figuring out the smallest size that could run stoichiometric without timing retard for the application. So to answer to your question the 7.3 is more efficient then a smaller motor of the same power at the design

It seems like an odd combination of words, putting “do no wrong” “still succeed” implies that people usually succeed by doing wrong which doesn’t make sense.

Mercedes, the team that can do no wrong and still succeed

Now playing

With my 3.6 Pentastar V6 I don’t feel any vibration, in fact the engine vibrates less then the 4.0 I6 in my other Jeep. My JK V6 is silent with stock exhaust so I can’t comment on the sound but it seems some manufacturers do a good job. As an engineer I can’t justify an inline 6 over a V6. Even diesel, I’ve driven plen

That being said my dad averages 19.5 MPG with his ecoboost 2016 F150 2.7 (6 sp) not towing which is 4.5 mpg higher then his 2005 F150 5.4. That more then makes up for the extra gas to pull 3 boats 200 miles a year. He drives 30000 miles a year.

Beltramo told us its critical for an engine to operate at peak power with an optimal air-fuel ratio (stoichiometric combustion).“

Ecoboost isn’t really designed to tow all the time, has to run enrichment to keep from burning valves or turbos under high constant load. The F250 doesn’t have an ecoboost motor and they just developed a 7.3 NA motor that’s supposed to run stoichiometric under high load conditions.

As the owner of a JK manual that I tow a 3500 lb travel trailer with, I usually drop it into low range (even on hard pavement) to back the trailer up hill into a tight driveway to avoid getting my clutch hot. Boat ramps are even a bigger reason you need 4x4 low range to not burn your clutch and for good traction on a

You are still talking about 660 ft-lbs of torque. You don’t buy a manual truck for performance. This is still the most powerful manual transmission 3500 truck ever built.

Hamilton was alongside Vettel so therefore you have to leave a cars width of space. It’s only blocking if Vettel is still in front.

They do use air to cool the battery. Its in the form of air —> liquid —> battery. Cooling hurts aerodynamic efficiency so if you don’t actually need the cooling then too much cooling will hurt efficiency.

You still need air to cool the liquid.
