Other countries and peoples manage to accomplish those intentions much more effectively than the US and they do it without fetishising an old parchment written by a bunch of slave owners. America simply does not live up to its stated values.

American “values” have always been a cultish delusion anyway. Whenever you talk about “freedom” and “equality” those of us in the civilised world just roll our eyes.

The weird thing for me is that a lot of those people (the ones I know, at least) refuse to buy Asian cars. It’s got to be German, Swedish or (in a pinch) English.
