This looks T-Rated, and that really appeals to me. I do love UTs gratuitous violence but holding back prevents desaturation through gore and it births creativity.

Battlefield 3 was a "storymaker" and was a "casually strategic" game with friends. The shooting and gunfeel was good but it never was the main focus. However, it probably prevented the whole game from dragging down. Were you only playing Deathmatch?

The game comes with a world map, but it's not the greatest. This is. It strikes about the perfect balance between realism (distribution of resources, general geography) and playability (Britain and Japan are made bigger so they're not at a disadvantage).
