I was one of those “kids” who ran from home from school to catch the latest episode at 3:30pm on Channel 7 in Chicago. This show holds a special place in the hearts of Boomers everywhere - I actually own the entire series on DVD in a coffin-shaped box, and also have a replica of Barnabas’s wolf head cane. Just wait

Dear good Sir,

It honestly looks less pistol-like and more smg.

“But you have so much money!”

I wish stores over here carried more international soft drinks. Other than the occasional Mexican soda the amount of imported soda in most stores is way smaller than other imported foods.

For the same reasons that they’re already declining. Who the hell can afford a $30,000 bike? A few boomers sure, but they all want to ride “real Harleys” and cosplay as homeless vets after leaving their dental practice

that sounds like it would be expensive though.

Wawa breakfast (tin-foiled) sandwiches near the cash register in that small heat box are awesome. Also enjoy the Wawa deli section eggsalad on lg classic roll w/onions addded.

A very wise man I used to work with at a sporting goods store told me that there are 2 things in life you should never skimp on...shoes & mattresses.  Because you spend 90% of your life in one or the other.   Truer words were never spoken!

Feeling pretty stupid having to ask (and will probably feel even dumber after an answer) but what does a “Saran-wrapped glass of wine” mean in regards to Tad’s, or maybe just in general as an expression? Do they serve their wine in a glass covered by the wrap or something (and if they do, why)? Thanks.

I confess on occasions I wander into Wawa for SEC biscuits & croissants on the DL.

No judgment here. I ate French fries for breakfast yesterday.

That article raises an interesting explanation: were any of these animals insured?

It’s not aliens or people.  It’s natural causes and insurance fraud - if the cattle died due to natural causes, the insurance doesn’t pay out.  So cattle die of natural causes, and the rancher insists that it must have been because someone did something to it, and counts on most people not really understanding how

I am not spending $30K on a bike. That is insane. Even for new tech. A Ducati Panigale starts in the low 20's. How can HD even expect to compete with that?

Pun intended.

I hope he gets a huge bonus for that - a significant fraction of the damage-repair bill that would have been needed for the aircraft that almost got hit.

But I also think the odds are small.

Yes, it is definitely a problem, but how do you fix it? You need at least 10 times as many inspectors but that simply isn’t going to happen. Most states just don’t have the money and if they charge the industry, the money is likely to get diverted and the costs will get passed on to the consumer anyway. And this isn’t

That surgery video was great!
