This has got to be nigh on impossible to follow for someone who doesn’t know how discovery works. Rules of evidence are... not necessarily complex, but certainly unintuitive if you’re unfamiliar.

I dunno about “most people”, but certainly I would think most people who keep a reasonably well-stocked liquor cabinet would want to have it around for various cocktails, as much as anything. I never really understood the appeal of trying to mimic meat with vegetables when veggies can already do so many things that meat can’t.
