Ben’s a mess but I’m suspicious of anyone who can’t be single for 5 minutes.

Maybe it’s just me, but calling equal pay for equal work a “woke social norm” is a pretty appalling statement, even by Mitch McConnell’s standards.
Almost everything has a racist past in America though - and compared to the police, justice department, congress, etc. etc. this seems pretty minor stuff especially in light of actual damage done to POC today.
This redemption tour proves she hasn’t grown. She just wants back in the spotlight.
“Let’s see if Hilton’s self-awareness and humility are up for the challenge.”
Glad to see that group of dudes mock these ladies; it’s important to see shit like this normalized so that 1) marginalized people don’t always have to be the ones standing up for themselves and 2) non-marginalized people see people that look like them standing up for others (not to say they haven’t, but people tend to…
I love the hypocrisy of these racists saying two women kissing in front of their children is unacceptable, and yet screaming obscenities and getting kicked out of a pool in front of said-children is a-ok. “Mommy screams at women of color so you don’t have to see them kiss!” Toodaloo, Karen!
It has no basis under the Constitution or any legitimate legal framework.”
I have not seen this show yet, but after the atrocity that was Big Little Lies season 2: The Vanity Project, I would also like to beg these executives to just stahhhppppp!
There’s really not much of anything here. The headline and the beginning of the story made it sound like Erin from The Office was burning crosses and shit. Nope, she attended some corny debutante ball thing that has a racist past. Most of the US has a racist past.
Look, if we start doing “Famous person took part in institution that turned out to be hella racist” takes we’re going to be here forever because, spoiler alert, most white institutions in America are hella racist.
Am I missing something? I see no connection other than the origins of the festival or party or whatever that would tie her to KKK leanings. If dumbass Black people wanted to join that bullshit, that’s of course their choice but I don’t see where she was personally connected to the KKK or even racism. I also think it’s…
Nothing new; when it’s one of us who sets boundaries, we’re seen as “uppity” “entitled” and/or “ungrateful”. Had this been some mediocre white chick, the press would’ve found a way to present her as heroic, reluctant mental-health ambassador worth applauding. Never mind that she’s again like the Williams sisters…
Thank you for writing so well about what rubbed me the wrong way about this picture.
Y’all, I hate to bring it to your attention, but from my limited experiences out in the Real World these past few months, this sort of behavior isn’t limited to just airplanes.
That’s actually the only reason I like seeing her. Not because the hairstyles are flattering, but because I’m almost certain her hairstylist is trolling her. The stylist is on record saying she’s not, but if someone were trolling an obnoxious client and wanted to continue to do so, I don’t think they’d admit to it.
I thought the View was supposed to be about a group is supposedly intelligent women speaking their mind. The problem is Meghan is not intelligent. And I am not saying that as a Democrat dissing a Republican. I am saying that as an intelligent college graduate and well read person. She is legit there for her name. She…
I’m almost to the point where I feel kinda bad for him. He has struggled with addiction, and just seems kinda lost at times. And I didn’t mind him in the Justice League/Batman movies.
I didn’t leave America because of the horrific healthcare system, but it’s one of the major reasons I would never move back.
