Canada could not be easier to travel to.

Nah, you can go to any of the university areas and find a bunch of 1st-2nd year students getting smashed at cheap izakayas. Or drinking in the park, at the beach, etc. Binge drinking is just as prevalent if not more so I think.
We got screwed this year with Showa Day on the 29th. Saturday holidays stay on Saturday (ie helps none of us salarymen) while Sunday holidays move to Monday.
Less underage drinking? Probably more given the ease of getting alcohol.
That’s why the good lord made Eki Net.
In my experience few countries require that you actually have this permit, but there are some that do. I had to pay a large fine in Brazil several years back as their special international permit was absolutely required, and they had checkpoints on national highways to verify documentation.
It’s easy - just remember the driver side of the car should be in the middle of the road, not nearest the shoulder. I’ve spent half my driving life on one side of the road and the rest on the other, switching back and forth gets to become second nature.
I’m sure you’re not, but I’m also pretty sure it’s a minority opinion. It’s a very popular franchise, and I don’t think the lack of streaming is going to hurt that at all.
You are forgetting the step where the streamer would need to license the content to be streamed. Audible, etc are not creating audio books without licensing the right to do so from the original books’ publishers.
How about just respecting the wishes of the people who produce the content in the first place?
I would imagine it’s simply much easier to fix a low profile match with a terrible side than it is anything competitive, higher profile.
This is a really good idea. After the 3/11 disaster in Japan, stores were absolutely cleaned out for days, and my apartment was without gas and water for a week. I keep plenty of supplies on hand since then.
Weak CGI? The CGI in that movie looked like it was sourced via Fiverr. I’m pretty forgiving of bad CGI in service of a good story, but that should never have been released in the terrible state it was.
Why wouldn’t you count Ichiro’s minor league hits, then? He spent time in the Japanese minor leagues before becoming a full time ichi-gun player.
That is really good, thanks for sharing!
He simply dominated in his rookie season of 2013 - 85K in 56 1/3 innings.
You shouldn’t have to rely on your employer for healthcare, and your employer shouldn’t have to provide it for you any more than they should provide you police protection. Healthcare is a basic right that everyone should have regardless of employment status or socioeconomic condition.
Tokyo Dome, Fukuoka Dome, Sapporo Dome, Nagoya Dome, and Kyocera Dome Osaka - those are the only domes in Japan. Everything else in the country is open air.
Pretty big gap between “not assimilating” and “never trying any local food at all”, though.
FWIW, Bangkok actually has a couple of really nice Tex-Mex restaurants.
