Well, the majors don’t charge for checked bags in Japan so everyone isn’t carrying all that much. People typically step out of the aisles pretty quickly, too. You definitely don’t see the folks with two huge bags standing in the aisle trying to figure out where they can shove them like you do frequently in the US.

For the domestic flights I take in Japan, they basically always board in ~10-15 min. Priority for elderly/families, then business/ff status people, then everyone boards at once. Always goes quickly.

Nah, plenty of scarves in Japan, too.

Professional? Nah, you are making shit up.

So why did you click on this article? Just to bitch? Most people, upon seeing something they don’t want to read, choose not to read said article.

Heh, last long flight I was on (transpacific flight) had “Sully” as an option to watch :)

Reminds me of when I was in Okinawa last year, my flight from Naha was delayed on the tarmac because of several fighters scrambling for some nonsense with the Chinese in the area. Was pretty fun sitting in the plane by the window watching and listening to them whooooosh down the runway.

If Texans care about anything, it’s football. They care.

Oh, not even close.

Not so much, really. I own the Cassette Vision, Super Cassette Vision, and the Super Cassette Vision Lady (indeed!) The Lady is the only really valuable one of the bunch, and it is quite hard to find. Some of the games for both systems are pretty scarce (especially the late Super games) but nothing too terrible.

If he’s a righty, it’s just the follow through on a practice swing. With a super early release, it seems.

I am curious how you explain the 10s of thousands of people who died from radiation-related illnesses in the wake of Hiroshima but the none that died from radiation-related illnesses in Tokyo, which actually was firebombed in 1945?

We never did either in Texas, and I am older than you.

Christ, you are insufferable.

I was in school when he was prez, and I hated him then. And I’m from Texas!

He’s a better hitter than pitcher anyway. Source: watched a hell of a lot of him doing both these past few years.

The schedule and workload are easier for pitchers in Japan v MLB. Sure, there are the 120-130 pitch outings, but fewer pitches in those outings thrown at 100% (due to differences in pitching styles in MLB vs NPB). There are 6 man rotations and the season is shorter.

The ones I see tend to be either large ones like Hummer or Navigator, or sports models like a Mustang or Challenger. Ran into a Challenger club at a rest area last year, even.

10,000 km/yr? I would hazard a guess the average is lower than that, at least among people I know.

Plenty of FCA dealers in Japan. I’m an Alfa owner, quite a few dealers near me to choose from.
