The point of the stabilized rent is to allow people who otherwise couldn’t afford a home to stay in their rental. If she has a second home, she doesn’t need stabilized rent. She is basically just gaming the system.

Almost no taxi drivers in NYC own their own medallion. Medallion owners are often bankers and other people who bought them as investments and rent them out to people. I don’t feel bad that people who lobbied for a government enforced cartel end up taking a hit when that cartel fails. 

It is kind of a good deal if you really like helicoptering and carting. You could get this, or a 700 sqf home in SF that you have to demolish and rebuild because you just bought it for the land.

No. It is a law to have a serial number on every gun you sell. If you make it and never sell it, you are good to go in most states (except California). They have you stamp one in, but it is still legal to build ‘em. 

Depends on why they want an untraceable gun, no? Sure criminals will want something concealable, but I made one using an 80% lower, a hand router, and a jig as a fun project. I know a couple people who have also done this. It is a like a model kit you can actually use.
