Can anyone explain why they don’t just auction these vehicles? It seems bizarre to destroy them.

Yes, sounding like where you grew up is totally the same as choosing to be blind, deaf, or unable to walk (in this hypothetical future).
That is a great way to look at things when the technology or medicine don’t exist to fix your physical disability.
The fact that this is an outrage and also covered by the media is already 100X better than Stalin.
“Finally, you put a lot of weight in the adverb easily.”
At what point in this hypothetical future where all these things can be fixed would other just tell that person to go f’ themselves? It would effectively be a future version of Munchhausen syndrome where disability is a preference vs a reality.
I agree. Why would disability be an “identity” in a future where all such things can be repaired?
In this hypothetical future, why would we prioritize access to stuff for people who could easily get access, but choose not to?
“Contrary to ableist opinion, a utopia is not a world where disability is a problem that’s been solved; rather, it’s an inevitable expression of genetic variance, and disabled humans are not just welcomed but fully included.”
Probably extra bad given that the canopy of the Vietnamese jungle is just as visually impenetrable from a jet pack as it is from a helicopter.
So basically the space marines from Starship Troopers (the book, not the movie).
It is the fettering that creates the problem, not the unfettering. You are arguing for more intervention in a situation where the problem is government intervention. If the government wasn’t giving tax incentives or buying stadiums, no issue would exist.
Comparing gulags, where people were sent without trial and were tortured into admissions of guilt to prison where you are tried by a jury of your peers makes you an apologist for the for one of the most deadly regimes in the world’s history. You should be embarrassed.
Crack pipe!!! Sure, the car looks like a good deal, but when you take into account all the repairs to make it original, it will cost you a pretty penny.
Cleats would have been even more slippery on a wet home plate, no?
While you may need cleats for flag football, you don’t need them for kickball. It isn’t like you are juking out the first baseman.
My rule is that if you bring soccer cleats to kickball, I won’t let you play. If you wear cleats, you care too much.
Co-ed leagues are for finding a weekday reason to get shitfaced, not sports.
When’s the next Redsox v Yankees game?
