@Mr_Quackers: It's the 'Low Orbit Ion Cannon', or LOIC, used by the hive-mind to perpetuate a DDOS attack.

I'm curious as to what they're hoping to find... As anything they do find just means the guys at the start end fucked up.

@Azraeus: I guess they just decided that the best way to promote all of their other sites was to fill up each one with links to barely-relevant content from other sites. I'm glad the ca.gizmodo.com site still gives me access to at least a seemingly normal version of the site.

BWONG!!!!

@lolmonade: Computers are only as 'smart' as the brain that programmed them. This thing can't really 'think', it just has insanely good algorithms for detecting and decoding human speech patterns.

@iamthejae001: Because those 'brains' over at gawker HQ decided to update all their sites to this 'forward-thinking' look. Except it's neither good looking nor functional.

Nope, still not here. I somehow stumbled upon 2 'open box' Zune 120s in a Best Buy one afternoon though. Strangely they were priced at only $99.99 each... Safe to say I snapped one up right then and there. Still have no idea how they got there, or why they had 2, but I'm glad I did. As a large capacity music player

@Dezerus Richardson: We did humans vs zombies with coloured bandanas to represent each faction.

@Arqade: Does it require a satisfying tug before firing?

@ITIL_Prince: I always require a satisfying tug before firing.

@Jackstick: By definition they already have. Many times.

@Dragonis: You can't explain that!

@AreWeThereYeti: Alright, put android on the N8. Would you be enticed to buy that over any other high-end android handset from HTC, Samsung, etc?

I wonder when they'll finally realize that this layout SUCKS.

It's pretty much universally agreed upon that the entire gawker redesign was just an overall bad idea. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

You're saying it didn't? After world at war activision gimped the PC franchise to focus on the hugely profitable console market, absolutely throwing out everything that made the games great. No mods? No custom maps? No dedicated servers?! Bah. After that I'll never buy another activision game again.

In my mind Guitar Hero 5 was pretty much the Magnum Opus of the franchise. All those crappy band themed games and mediocre sequels really tarnished the name though.
